Name: Alto Ganze Alias(s): (none yet) Age: 17 Affiliations: Corporate? Or The Heroes Description: Out of costume, he wears a standard lab coat around with him everywhere instead of that jacket. He has it buttoned up fully and doesn’t ever seem to take it off. In costume, he wears that jacket with the left sleeve taken off and a single fingerless glove on his left hand. On a side note, he keeps extra fingerless left hand gloves in his pocket because they are prone to getting ripped. Powers: Keith’s actual power is that he is able to program everything that is programmable as if it was a natural thing to him. His power makes programming second nature, and can also be extended to hacking. Normally that would put him at about D rank, but then there’s the robot arm. One day (which will be explained in history), Keith got a robot arm. A bunch of stuff happened (which will be explained in history) and now he can use it as an extremely potent weapon. The arm is in fact a symbiotic life form which latched onto Keith because of his actual power. The arm seems to run on a mysterious kind of energy which cannot be separated from the arm and can only be used by the arm itself. The energy can do all manner of things, only the minority of which were thought up by Keith as he programmed the arm. The arm can be embedded with programs but Keith can only change three of them as the others have been locked down somehow. He has currently loaded: Laser.exe – The first successful program he loaded, Laser.exe shoots a constant laser from a selected fingertip. It can through even steel without much difficulty. The intensity of the laser can be adjusted to a point where it simply raises temperature. The laser is a very light blue in colour. Super Blade Punch – The arm uses its energy to create a triangular blade like projection onto the fist. It can slice through things faster than the laser but cannot be adjusted and it’s only a melee weapon. Looks something like this: but the colour is the same as the laser. The super blade punch comes out from the top of his fist and rips up his fingerless glove. GTFO protocol – The arm uses its energy to create a powerful hook-shot for Keith to utilize. The hook-shot can pull up to a ton of weight either backwards or forwards. The line extends up to 50 meters and is not affected by gravity. The hook-shot is also the same colour as the other programs and comes from the palm of his hand, which rips up the fingerless glove. The arm also passively increases his speed and reflexes, can play video and music files and also acts as a kind of computer directly linked to his mind. With it, it’s as if his mind is a computer and the arm is a direct link to other devices. He can utilize this to code at an unparalleled rate as the speed is as fast as he can think. Skills: Science, physics and genetics specifically, engineering, some martial arts Rank: A because of potential (explained in history) in robot arm but actual ability is closer to C Brief History:
In his younger days, Keith was renowned as a child genius in the science and engineering fields. If anyone asked him why he would say it was because he wanted to have a robot arm someday that could do a rocket punch. Later in life he would discover that by the time his dreams were made a reality, he would be pretty old and he wouldn’t get to enjoy it. Regardless, he threw himself into research and he had many findings on robotics, prosthetics and similar things. Eventually, he got bored of researching such mundane things, but he couldn’t research rocket powered robot arms because the industry didn’t see any use in it and wouldn’t fund his research. Having run into such a roadblock on the way to his dream, he wearily resigned himself to weeping bitterly (not really weeping but you know what I mean) to himself as he thought about what could’ve been. Until that is, it happened. On the night before his 16th birthday, he wished on a shooting star that his birthday present would be a robot arm that at least shot lasers or something. As he was sleeping, the shooting star turned around and started plummeting towards the earth. When he woke up, there was a smoking crater next to his bed and his left arm had been turned into a sweet ass robot arm. Before he even got up however, it started playing a pre-recorded message in his mind. “This is a pre-recorded message for the bearer of this life-form.” The message said. “You have no doubt found that you suddenly have a limb that has been changed into a robot arm. If this inconveniences you, then I sincerely apologize but this is necessary for my race’s survival. I am the last of my kind, so I sought a way to further our species again. I found that we were once made, and I thought perhaps we could be made again. Your planet had the most promise of being able to recreate us, so I have been orbiting the planet seeking the best candidate for the task. Now the task falls on you, I have depleted myself in my travels, and I must enter hibernation.” With that, the arm became inert, and his mind immediately filled with questions such as can it shoot lasers? and, can it do a rocket punch?! He would find out in the following year that yes, it can shoot lasers and no it cannot do a rocket punch. He also found out that the arm actually was an organic life-form. It had formed some sort of symbiotic relationship with his left arm which apparently still existed but was not part of his actual arm. He found this out by taking a look into its programming and that’s when he found out his actual powers of programming. There was a recharge program running in his arm and looking at the code he somehow understood that the life-form was somehow recharging itself using his left arm which was now somehow in another dimension. He didn't really understand that either. The relationship between him and the life-form was symbiotic in the sense that the arm took one of his limbs to keep itself alive and he could now use the limb to do superhuman things. Such as shooting lasers. He kind of felt that the arm had gotten the short end of the stick, the life-form fed off his useless left arm and Alto got to shoot lasers. Besides the programming, Alto also tried to X-Ray it only to find some kind of energy was blocking the X-Rays. Further study of the energy led to the development of several of Alto’s programs. Alto also managed to find the maximum capacity of the energy and after some conversion and theoretical physics, he found that it would’ve been enough to blow up the sun if it was fully charged and he shot a laser at the sun. But, the energy wasn’t even up to 1% so the government ranked his power at A due to the potential. Eventually Alto got researcher’s block and his interest in the study of the arm dried up. Going outside for the first time in a while, he suddenly developed a keen interest in testing the arm in the field.
