Well, being a young adult/teenager is a chaotic time for any of us. It's hard to believe any of us DON'T have a story where we were taken advantage of, manipulated, pressured into situations we would rather not be in. Now, say for instance the future soldiers were conscripted into military service at a younger age. Then all they would come to know is war, death, combat and etc. Well, as they mature, wouldn't that make them into one-dimensional mindless drones meant for the grave? You could say that the age was set a bit higher so that they can still have personalities and be able to think critically for themselves but still be young enough to control. There also must be some reason that countless countries in the world recruit those aged 17-18 into their military. Like in the U.S. Military, if you're 17 years old but a Senior in High School, you're eligible to join. Ultimately, Gnar would be the GM of the RP and whatever Gnar sets for the rules and boundaries of the game is the final and last word. We may be afforded the option to discuss and potentially change some things, but still Gnar is the final say. Personally, I don't have issues with the age limit of the characters. --- Now for something a bit more constructive.
