Alright, homies. I've been playing a lot of Psychonauts recently, and the recurring idea of doing a roleplay similar to it has popped in my head repeatably. Recently, I came up with a few solid ideas for it (And for it's characters). It will not be a fandom RP per-se, but it will have some heavy themes from the game. Alright, so the basic idea is that there's a large summer camp hidden somewhere for psychic kids. Kids that have mind powers such as telekinesis, ESP, precognition and so on. I'm thinking that everyone will have minor telepathy by default (By that I mean sending and receiving thoughts), but everyone will be able to choose their own powers. But here's the system I came up with in regards to these powers. A single character can have multiple psychic powers, but the more they have, the weaker they will all be. So someone specializing in telekinesis wouldn't be redundant in the face of someone with say... Telepathy, telekinesis, esp, psychometry, and procognition. The other idea I had is that I assign everyone their powers based on a few factors (It might be more time consuming, but it'd certainly be interesting).

So, thoughts? I'm open to any and all ideas.

I am six thousand percent interested. Count me in, waaaaay in. As far as thoughts go, my two cents: limit the age. I just think that trying to write as a group of kids would be more challenging and fun, and if you extend it to 18 year olds then everyone's going to end up choosing 18.

I might have more two cents in the future, depending on how this all goes.

Eight through sixteen was the intended age limit. Though, I AM giving people the option to play as the staff.

Oh cool, that makes sense. I'm hoping for as much zany weirdness as possible.

Neat. I made up the skeleton for the OOC post. I'm totes going to put some mystery and supernatural/spooky elements into the RP. Once we get a few more people saying they're interested I can put it together (I need some more time to get my ideas together).

My character's totally gonna have a pet bee.

I've never actually played the game but I have a bunch of friends that do and this looks like fun. In short, I'm interested.

This is very interesting and within my line of RP choices, but time constraints severely limit my moves at the moment.

I think I'm gonna go with clairvoyance. That combined with a bee companion could be useful, I think.
