Once introductions were finished, Evangeline kept to the sidelines as everyone talked amongst themselves. Bouncing around from person to person, her attention drew to Koyuki as she criticized the rest of them. Her words were cold, and heartless. Even if she spoke as if she were trying to encourage them, Eva could still hear the cruelty behind her tone. It was then that another figure caught her attention. Sitting beside her, Evangeline watched out of the corner of her eye as Oda, if she recalled correctly, stood up abruptly. While her intentions weren’t to be nosy her gaze shifted towards him as he began to dig into his pocket. Trying not to seem obvious, she watched as he brought out a piece of candy and placed it within her hands. Eyes wide in shock by this, the soft pat to her head was all that it took to snap her back into reality. Stunned by his actions an unfamiliar warmth seemed to fill her chest before she safety tucked the candy into her own pocket. The mans kindness did not go unnoticed by her Mori, and neither did the small, almost unnoticeable smile along Evangeline’s face. Watching Oda carefully, Dee sat still, and quietly along the opposite side of its master as he left the room with another girl following behind him. The grin along its face seemed droop, and the edges of its lips curved into a large, almost irritated frown. But before Eva came to notice, the same, familiar grin had already returned to its face. It wasn’t long before Ikiriyo—or rather, The Chief Enforcer—began to speak again. What little information he gave them about their condition was a little disheartening, but then again, it didn’t sound like he understood much about their resurrection either. From the looks of it, if she wanted any answers she was going to have to find this other Reaper on the island. Brought out of her thoughts, the conversation seem to focus on Jimmy as he seemed to criticize Zachary’s plans on hunting down a vampire. His own Mori, however, was quick to counter his words with the bitter truth. “Well you could try to kill heroin. Maybe by taking it all at once. Oh I am sorry, too soon?" It wasn’t her right to judge someone on their issues, so even as Jimmy grew angry his Mori and shouted at the rest of them, Evangeline didn’t take any of his words to heart. “You understand me! You even killed yourself!” His words caught her by surprise, but even as the truth stung, she knew he was right. She never asked to be resurrected, and she had never asked to do ‘deaths bidding’. Hell, she wasn’t even sure if she had the strength to reap anything. It was then that Zachary began to talk, his own frustration evident as he called Jimmy out. Listening to his proposal to find the other Reaper within the city, Evangeline couldn’t help but find herself siding with him even though she didn’t agree with the latter of his plans. She didn’t have any personal vendetta against any Vampires, and it didn’t seem too smart to rush in on a coven this early into their resurrection, but before she could voice her concerns he had already left the room. Turning her attention to Jimmy instead, she tried to reason with him instead, “Zachary’s right,“ She said quietly, unsure if anyone was even listening to her. “Maybe.. maybe if we find this other Reaper he’ll know more about why we were resurrected, and how to get out of this situation faster. I’m not sure about the whole vampire thing thou—” Hopping up eagerly from the ground and interrupting its masters words, Dee began to skip around Evangeline chair, the sudden action frightening the little blonde, “Adventure! Adventure!” Grabbing the girls hand, her Mori pulled her from the chair and aggressively lead her towards the door. Looking back at Jimmy and the others seeing as she hadn’t been able to finish her sentence, Eva shot them a look of apology before she was pulled out by the Doppelgänger. Reaching the hallway, the grip along her hand was let go as Dee suddenly ran to the left. “Ah—Hey, Dee, don’t leave me!” Running after the Mori, Evangeline could hear faint noises, and grunting coming from down the hall. While she speculated it to be Oda, and Prudence, the small blonde slowly crept up to the edge of the doorway noticing the silver haired boy hunched along the ground. “U-uh, Zachary?..” Peaking out from the door, Evangeline's eyebrows knitted together in concern before shooting a look of concern up at the two others sparring. Licking her lips anxiously she began to take slow, careful steps forward, “Are you alright?”
