Uhh well a lot of skill descriptions are vague and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with them. I thought she would just play around with mana for a while and get more used to controlling it. In that case, can she learn how to cast homing projectiles? That, or an energy barrier/buff/camouflage veil?

Homing falls under the category of magic.

As for the shield, that she can do. And alright I shall have her practicing a bit as well as work on developing a Shield esque skill. (Probably will get the same thing Ren has)

In time I'll try to customize the shield, I suppose. But for now, getting a mana shield is pretty long overdue for her.

Hmmm. So I guess a familiar very different from my build is impossible... I have the choice between a speedster, an immobile mage, or a mix just like Sasha...

The Soul Familiar is a piece of yourself, so its going to be similar to you in stats. In terms of abilities though they can be a bit different from yours, but somewhat are relevant to your own in some way, shape, or form.

Things have been pretty stressful as of late, but I was finally able to get a post up.

So Val, you have two choices. Decide on a personality and appearance for your familiar yourself and control it yourself (these have to be based on some internal aspect of Sasha's personality, psyche, and overall character, it can look human and even be human in form)

Or you can let me decide and let me control it. Up to you really.

Or you can still decide on personality and appearance and ill do my best to control it and vice versa (letting me decide and you control it).

Its really up to you.

Yes. Of course, they need to be able to hold it, but yes, it does scale to size.

I'm thinking of a cute girlish boy wearing cute frilly clothing but is psychotic and evil. As if he inherited all of Sasha's bad points and none of her humanity. Do you want to play something like that?
