I'm mostly in charge if my mum wants biscuits or anything sweet, her favourite has to be almond biscuits though. But my step-dad likes to make lots of home-cooked meals, especially ones that just require you stick it in the slow-cooker and let it stew for several hours whilst he's at work. He makes things like beef stew, chicken and ham soup, and sausage casserole. I'm not really the dinner dish sort of person, the most I know is how to make pizza and lasagna...Maybe Pasta Bakes as well, but I think that one doesn't count because that's just boiling pasta and adding pasta bake sauce. I watched my dad and step-dad make burgers from scratch though... I'll have to try one day. ...All of these are hardly breakfast like though. I normally skip breakfast, but if I ever do something it's often just cereal. I did one time heat up some of these mini baguette things and they were so nice with just a poached egg on top. Because it was like a pre-made bread roll that hadn't been baked that had been frozen so essentially you had freshly cooked bread. But if you want something easy for breakfast, if I can ever be bothered, I just break an egg or two in a bowl (I usually do two eggs if I have extra mouths to feed or just keep the extra in the fridge for later), whisk eggs, add milk and whisk again. Take two bread slices, cut them in half then dunk them in your egg + milk mixture separately then fry in a frying pan on both sides. Voila, french toast (Or eggy bread).
