Well bugger my giddy aunt, this OOC kinda ballooned on me... I was going to go with a perverted guy in a woman's body, but I see that's been semi-done. /shrug
 --- <I can drop a lady's garters from fifty yards; one bolt, one scene of gratuitous fanservice.> --- Name: James Eaton Username: EarlTrevorVI, Trevor for short Age: 25 Race: Wolf Fang Class and Level: Assassin Lvl 69 Subclass and Level: Herbalist Lvl 44 Guild: Silverfall Background: Teaching can be a draining experience for the lone bachelor and James Eaton was no exception. His chosen method of escapism was, ironically, to play online games with his students, generally a mix of FPSs and RTSs. As his students aged, they began to branch out into different genres, often dragging James along for the ride; it was during one of these experimental game-jumps that he discovered Elder Tale. While the kids' interest in the game soon waned, James himself had fallen in love with the lore and community and opted to stay on alone. Since his character build was not suited to solo play, he began courting different guilds to see if anyone could deal with his... unique personality, eventually settling in with a relatively small guild named Silverfall. With the Apocalypse he soon found his calling as self-appointed liaison with the noble houses of the People of the Land, where he fit in quite naturally. From his perspective, the new world of Elder Tale is a dream come true, far away from inter-department rivalries and having to kiss the governors' arses. The lack of proper tea and pipe baccy is a minor disadvantage, but one that he could deal with. Personality: Despite his average upbringing, James has always carried himself with an air of sophistication, one might say nobility. He can initially come across as snobbish, but it soon becomes apparent that he is simply playing the part of a stereotypical aristocrat from the age of Empire; affable, suave and with an unswerving dedication to a certain hot drink. However he is not always so upstanding; James is a colossal pervert and has no issue with proclaiming such to the world by way of removing a woman's undergarments with stealth and slight of hand. The fact that he would do this with a straight face whilst calmly critiquing his victim's taste in bras is a testament to his considerable mental fortitude. --- Stats HP: 4 MP: 6 STR: 6 DEX: 5 Physical DEF: 5 Magic DEF: 2 INT: 2 WIL: 2 AGI: 5 Spell/Skill List: Deals extreme damage to a single target with extra damage if the target is not targeting the Assassin. Extreme cooldown. This skill can be used with any class of Assassin's weapon. A headshot that deals large damage with a high critical chance. Medium cooldown. Shoots a bolt/arrow through the target's leg, snaring them and preventing movement for five seconds. Long cooldown. An explosive bolt/arrow that deals high fire damage to the target and medium fire damage to up to five nearby enemies. Medium cooldown. A self buff that massively boosts accuracy and critical chance for the next shot. Extreme cooldown. This skill fires a shot into the air which explodes, raining smaller bolts/arrows down on a designated area. Deals dozens of weak attacks against any targets within the AoE, making it an excellent skill against a large number of unarmoured enemies. Very long cooldown. Fires three bolts/arrows in a narrow arc. Each shot does 75% damage and has Penetration (See Venezia's Swift Vengeance). Long cooldown. A crossbow-only skill, it fires a short-ranged bolt that shatters after firing, creating a shotgun-style blast that deals heavy damage and can knock a target back. Medium cooldown. Temporarily renders the Assassin invisible and inaudible, allowing them to stealth around enemies. Attacking from stealth gives a +50% damage bonus against out of combat enemies. Medium cooldown. Wolf Fang racial ability. Increased damage and doubles casting speed for ten seconds. Extreme cooldown. Equipment: Venezia's Swift Vengeance Ancient class Arbalest (Appearance) A rare and extremely large siege crossbow dropped by a certain raid boss, Venezia's Swift Vengeance has a low rate of fire but makes up for it with its sheer damage potential. Firing what are essentially small spears, Venezia produces a lot of recoil when fired and so cannot be used while moving. Despite these drawbacks it is popular for its extreme range and accuracy, making it the sniper's weapon of choice for late game raiding. When Elder Tale was just a game, the Venezia's firing animation had the character's avatar go prone and deploy the built-in bipod; it can be fired standing, but many players still prefer to fire the old way. Cannot be used while moving Penetration: auto-attacks fired from Venezia have a 30% chance to keep going after hitting their target, continuing on to potentially hit another enemy for 75% damage. +3 MP Guardsman's Shortsword Magic class One-handed Sword A fairly common sword favoured as a backup weapon by ranged classes due to its low cost and stylish looks. Imperial Guard's Garb Production class Chest Armour A little used armour due to its low stat bonuses, the Imperial Guard's Garb is modelled after the uniforms worn by high-ranking Lander commanders. With long coattails and exquisite gold lacing, this deep blue coat looks far more expensive than it actually is. +1 Physical DEF [s]XYZ[/s] Didn't know where else to put it >>;
