Arameus returned to the table and looked about, Lord Merrik had been correct, laid out across the entire breadth of the table was a feast fit for a King, he could see various platters of meat, plates of breads and cheese of all types, bowls of fresh fruit, vegetables and even some dishes of foods he had not seen before. However he was a bit put off by Lord Merrik's absence, Arameus had felt sure that his Lordship would of taken this time to make formal introductions, this being their first time together and first formal meal as a group afterall, Lord Merrik was the Host and it was only proper for him to make the introductions. Arameus stepped closer to the table and cleared his throat loud enough to get everyones attention, he didn't feel comfortable sitting down with a group of strangers, especially if his life was going to depend on them and theirs on him, "Right then...beg pardon, but it seems only fitting that we make our acquaintance, since we are all going to be here and training together...My name is Arameus Brantly, a Knight by training and serving as his Majesty's Justicar by profession, I was on patrol along the southern region of the realm when I met Lord Merrik, at first I thought him either mad or drunk when he told me of his raising Dragons and was on the search for riders, I was almost ready to take him before the local Magistrate, when he saw my doubt and bid me to follow him into the woods, hesitant at first and suspicious, I followed with hand upon my sword fearing to be ambushed, robbed and left for dead.. needless to say my astonishment was beyond measure when I was brought in the presence of his black Dragon and hence became a believer to his cause....perhaps some, if not all have a similar encounter to share?, I would be most interested on how everyone came to be here as well." Despite his imposing 6'4" build and menacing look, largely caused from the dirt and grim covering him from the Dragons entrance into the Coliseum, Arameus spoke with a soft warm tone in hopes of putting everyone at ease and thus encourage others to stand and introduce themselves as well. He ended his self intro with a courtly bow towards the Ladies and a courteous nod of his head to the Gentlemen then sat at the table, waited politely for a moment to see if anyone else would raise and make an introduction before helping himself to a large slab of roasted meat and a chuck of bread.
