The Izanagi was, for all intents and purposes, incomplete. Under construction with no way to finish it now. If there was one thing Admiral Skye would give the Cruxi credit for, it would be that they had impeccable timing. Truth be told, he had figured it was news of that sort when Boris hesitated to reply. As far as the Admiral was concerned, the Izanagi was now an incomplete ship nowhere near combat or space readiness. 

Of all the times he could have been told that the Izanagi wasn't ready it had to be now? With the Cruxi fleet coming in? Perfect timing.

Considering that the Cruxi were here in full force with full intent to kill everyone inside - probably not. "We'll have to find or commandeer another ship. There's no use in an incomplete ship now."
