Rose At this point there was quite a bit of noise coming from the village, a number of conversations going on at once. A few were raised voices. This made it almost impossible to overhear other people's conversations especially while having one of your own. Rose listened to the nimbat and let out a small sigh. "Don't worry, I know all too well about the war that is coming. This village has already seen more death and destruction in the last twenty four hours than it has in the last two hundred years, so you don't have to tell me how bad it is going to get, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Right now, we have the combined power of an army of warlocks and dragons. So for now we are well prepared but, knowing what nimbats and what you have to offer, and considering this will inevitably be a war that will threaten the lives of everyone on earth. I am not going to turn down an alley, but as I said before, I know what a nimbat can do. So if you can't keep your dark side in check, are alliance will end in one of two ways. Either we kick your ass out the village and you never back or we kill you because we both know when a nimbat loses control, they are a threat to everything around them, friend or foe including themselves. If that is ok with you, then welcome to our village, and I will keep a close eye on you." Twilight Spike listened to the ancients, as he did, his tail was wagging and he had a big grin on his face. "Oh, you don't need to worry, I won't let it go to my head. No matter how special I might be, I will always stay the same modest dragon you see before you although, if Skyro needs a bodyguard, I'd be happy to help, and let's face it, you won't find anyone better for the job than the great and honorable Spike. I am the most special, most intelligent,, and currently the most powerful dragon around here and I say that knowing there is an army of dragons in this village and their pitiful king who is standing right there and knowing all that I will still remain a modest, humble and respectful dragon. That's what makes me the best guy I know." Twilight heard this and got up, walking over to Spike. She slapped him in the back of the head with her hoof. "You say you are the most intelligent dragon around here, but I don't think you understand the meaning of modest, humble and respectful. Somebody who is modest and humble does not go around bragging like you just did, and somebody who is respectful does not go around insulting people like you just did. You are becoming just as arrogant as the last time somepony called you special. What do you think Rairity would have to say about this. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am glad you are nice enough to offer to help Skyro, as he is an incredibly rare and endangered species that has the potential to bring back an ancient race on the blink of extinction but that does not give you the right to strut around like you are the greatest thing that walked the earth." Spike shouted ouch as Twilight smacked him across the head, he turned to her with an angry look on his face breathing heavily as little puffs of fire came out his nose. "How dare you hit the great and honorable Spike! I am not arrogant, i'm honest, there is so many great things about me, I'm just stating the facts, if I was arrogant, I wouldn't say I am currently the most powerful, I would say I am the most powerful dragon but I know Skyro will one day be stronger, but that does not mean he will be smarter, more skilled or even more special than I am. I mean, I suppose it's possible, but let's face it, it's not all that likely. Now I demand you apologize hitting and disrespecting me" Twilight listened to Spike's demands before replying, "This is exactly what I am talking about. You are so up your own ass right now, you don't even see it. He is already more special, I mean, think about it, you don't get someone who is more special and important to bodyguard somebody who is less special and important. I mean there is a lot of good things about you Spike, but your arrogance is your worst quality, and trust me it is not your only bad one. So no I am not going to apologize for smacking you because you need to grow up and apologize to those who you offended." Hearing this Spike crossed his arms, kicked a rock, huffed and stormed off in a paddy, he simply walked to the other side of the village sulking quietly, leaving Twilight feeling guilty, wondering if she was too hard on him. In the end, all she could do was turn to the others, bow her head in shame and apologize for the way Spike acted and the poor way she handled it. Storm Storm sensed the awakening of the phoenix queen and heard her call to to war. Storm sighed, this bad, if the phoenix queen was not stopped, many would die. She knew what she had to do, but she did not like. She knew no matter what, or what they did, in this situation bloodshed could not be avoided, She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to sense where her former commander was, once she got a lock on her location, She quickly flew over to her finding her in among a group of beast riders in their base, high in the mountains, she flew in and landed by her side. Once she saw the phoenix in front of her, she immediately tensed up, ready to defend herself, she then looked to Crystalline, realizing she was not trying to kill, she realized this phoenix must be an ally. She breathed a sigh of relief as she relaxed once more, but she did not fully trust the phoenix. Listening to their conversation, she decided to chirp in, "I'd hate to admit it, but I agree with that thing. We shouldn't kill the phoenix queen, we should imprison her once more. We need to moralize casualties on both sides and if we kill the so called queen, then her fellow beasts will likely will continue battling in a blind rage, but if we capture, it will demonize them and retreat hoping that one day, she will be released once more and as long as we keep the jar safe, the war will be avoided. This would allow us to save as many lives as possible." Storm then waited quietly for Casper's response, all the while, watching the thing in front of her. Casper Stone Casper listened to the three phoenix's and thought for a moment before responding, "Ideally, I would like to find a way to stop this war without killing or imprisoning the phoenix queen, but I don't see that as a possibility. So if possible, I believe we should seal her away again. Killing her should be our last resort. Luckily, my army is ready to move out at a moment's notice. However, I assume you have more allies on the way. So for now I simply inform my men that we are about to go to war while we await the arrival of your allies. Hinami Hinami listened to Spirit, but she could only make out so much of what he was saying, she was too weak from hunger, she was light headed, but once she saw the large steak of meat, her eyes went black as she began to drool. She grabbed hold of it and wolfed it down. It was gone in seconds. Right now trust was not much of an issue for her, as right now, she already believes she is a monster and deserves to die, so she wasn't worried whether he would betray her or not as she knew she deserved it and knowing if he was telling the truth, she would never have to worry about hurting another innocent again, she decided it was worth the risk. She simply looked to him as she said, "You have my attention, so what's your offer, and what will it cost me?" Kosuke Kosuke heard the war cries of his queen, he smiled with an evil grin, finally a new war would begin. It was time to destroy the dragons and get revenge for sealing away their queen. He spread his wings and immediately flew off heading towards the meeting location.
