Charlie blinked big green eyes toward the group of strange creatures standing around talking. It took her a few seconds to figure out what they were speaking of as it was not her native tongue. She must have understood wrong though as it seemed they were talking to a robot named....Mark? Or Adi? She was not sure. Not sure at all. Everything was oh so foggy. It hurt to think about the past, made a headache pound in her skull like thunder. The other topic registered pebbles. They were having a conversation about pebbles. The man that had left her on the beach to die instead of helping her had talked about pebbles too. If they both talked about pebbles did that mean she shouldn't trust them just like she didn't trust the old man? Charlie decided to stay hidden until she was sure of anything more than the hopelessness that filled her soul. Someone used to tell her soul's were where your strength and fortitude came from. she squinted, but couldn't picture who. Frusteration coursed through her. Water lapped at her feet. Maybe this water had a tide. Charlie decided to find somewhere else to hide on higher ground where she could continue to watch the strange people talk.
