By this time, a few of the orphans had come out to see what all the mess was about. Their faces, showing various shades of fear, showed that they regretted it, the three of them sticking close together throughout the ordeal. Though he would have liked a warning before the small dragon decided to jump off of him, at least there wouldn't be marks on his shoulder like on his back. Ezekiel found himself insulted at Chu's remarks to Draken. He still refused to get directly involved in the argument, but the soul-burning glare he shot the smaller showed his opinion on the matter better than words could have. But he did appreciate the shot the earth dragon took at the hunters, and despite himself found himself grinning. When the elder dragon summoned sprites to fix his church, Ezekiel straightened his posture, pressing his hands together in front of his chest in gratitude and delight. How wonderful of Draken to do that. "I thank you Exalted One, your generosity knows no bounds, may your supreme glory live on eternally." Said more as a prayer for gratitude, as with his own schedule and the schedule of the church it would have taken awhile to get everything properly repaired. He watched the girl as she gave a peace offering to the dragon. She acted so casual towards him, but didn't seem to be a dragon herself. Was there something about her? He would have to ask about her. Considering she came in with the dragons and could act such a way to his god, it was possible that she could be a prophet. He listened to what Draken had to say to the human, and nodded in agreement. He usually carried at least a knife on him and would defend himself from a hunter if needed, but at the moment unnecessary violence would be well to be avoided. "Do you need me to go, my Lord?" He had never tried it before, but he was fairly confident he could keep up with a couple of compact dragons if he needed to. It was now that the small group in the back took a vote, and sent Florence skittering towards Ezekiel, grabbing his arm to stop from sliding down on the hard wood floor. She glanced over at Draken and the newcomer nervously, giving a polite smile and a bow before almost hiding behind her elder. "Is there a problem, Florence?" Ezekiel asked, his voice soft, glancing up at his others for a moment. "I, um, no, I mean..." The teen trailed off, shaking her head. "It can get weird around here sometimes so we tried to just put off the crashing, but yeah...Mattias got so scared I think he almost cried...He's still writing upstairs, though..." She laughed, in embarrassment more than anything. "I mean there isn't a problem, is there?" "We'll talk later." Ezekiel almost immediately answered, turning his attention back to his lord. Seeing that the situation wasn't a landmine, the younger two children ran over to Ezekiel, huddling around him, the smallest hiding in his overcoat.
