Having him know alien technology is not the same as knowing earthly tech, and as it's been stated he's no genius. Also I don't intend to make aliens appear, he is on earth to watch over it. I don't see why space themed heroes wouldn't fit, it doesn't mean we have introduce aliens it's just implied that they exist
