I'm thinking their relationship should be kept secret from the populace, though Alice can get around that by appointing Melissa as a personal guard or something. Given these are ancient castle times, I think it would make sense for the citizens to be homophobic for the most part about it.

Also, I have a quick question for you. Would you be interested in doing a second, alternative-universe story line for this same RP? This second RP would be somewhat darker (as I have a different premise for the assassin character) and will feature more of the Masked Man into the story line. As of right now, he's admittedly just a Dues Ex Machina

That sounds like fun! I'm actually pretty into darker stuff right now (if you couldn't tell from the bit of darkness in my last post XD), so that would be awesome!

Ah good! :) Honestly, I think this second idea of mine is a bit more fleshed out than this one too. In any case, my character would be a bit more colder to yours as she's pretty much a stoic killing machine. However, she abandoned life as a knight and became an assassin because a warmongering group known as the Imperium kidnapped her sister and are holding her hostage.

Yeah, yeah. I see that. And my character would probably be more suspicious of yours too. Oh, that sounds like a cool plotline! I like the 'doing it for family' motivation a lot.

Mordred was his son, right? I think it was him and someone else. I remember now that Gawain died of illness and Lancelot left the Table. I think. Gotta go back and brush up on this.

I think the last thing I read related to King Arthur was the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Arthur was the first ever Gunslinger and his version of Excalibur was a pair of golden revolvers.

It's kind of a horror series (it is Stephen King after all) but at the same time it's not. Basically, the knights of old eventually started using guns when "the world moved on". Really an epic series, and that's just the premise of it.

I AM SO SORRY! That was such a long delay! I had those posts sitting in my google docs for a long time and I couldn't even post them because whenever I went to do it, it was a high-traffic time and the guild was down. I can't stress enough how sorry I am that I just dropped off the face of the Earth. I understand if you've lost interest or just don't want to RP with me anymore, but I just thought I'd put those up because it's been so long.
