Wooooo! A couple of questions though: How long has it been since the events of the last Northwards thread? A month? A year?

Also, I noticed from Shelton's thread that you guys are somewhere near Mt. Rainier, but I was wondering where exactly. In the nearby town? Or physically in a cabin right next to the Mountain?

To answer your questions it has been approx. a year now since the start of the infection. If you open a google map for visual Sheldon and anna's character are around the base of the mountain somewhere, I am at a resting station for park rangers which is also near the base of the mountain. Approx coords if there are any I don't have them haha Idk about sheldon and Anna though they would be best to answer that.

It's been several months since the end of the last incarnation of Northwards. Basically, everyone died (or is presumed dead) except Shan and Matt (check my quicky intro on page 1)
Me and AnnaBeth are a few miles west of Cougar Rock Campground, which is fairly near the mountain itself. Also, SO glad to have you guys back with us.

Sheldon, I'm going to have to ask you to hold your horses on leaving Reinier until I can get my CS up and first post in.

I didn't join until the middle of TWD Northwards, so I can only relate what I saw. Basically, there was a group that formed in some of the north-western states that migrated around a lot, gained and lost characters and did cool stuff much like the show's cast. They holed up in a school for a while and my character Matt (whom my username is based off of) a US Army Captain, arrived during this period. He remained with the group for six months, acting as a head of Security and organizing a small and effective militia to defend the group, occasionally butting heads with the more pacifist members of the group. A zombie horde of a little over a thousand rolled into town without warning one day and the Captain, aided by several militiamen, evacuated the women and children while his Lieutenant and the rest of the group led the defense of the school. Hundreds upon hundreds of Walkers were slain but in the end there were too many and the school as overrun, killing most of the group of 40+ including Shelton's Lieutenant who died (along with several comrades) leveling the school to distract and trap some of the walkers while a few others escaped into the wild. Over the next few months, Matt became the leader of his own group made up of several militiamen and the old group's women and children as well as a young woman, Shan, whom he formed a romantic relationship with. Unbeknownst to this group, the rest of the main cast had also survived and formed their own group further away, in (of all places) a different school. These two groups came close to meeting and reuniting on a few occasions but fate always stepped in and prevented their interaction. Jackson, a hardened criminal and ex-security contractor arrived in the area of Matt's group with a band of raiders towards the end of the RP. Shan, the Captain's aforementioned girlfriend, left on her own to find the school group or at least evidence of their survival and was captured by a roving patrol of Jackson's who beat and attempted to rape her. Shan narrowly escaped for a brief period but was quickly discovered again by the same patrol, now short one member (By her doing) and looking for revenge. The Captain arrived then, having tracked her to the bank where the ambush took place and expertly beat down and crippled one of her surviving assailants, chasing the other into an alley and feeding him to a pack of Walkers. The Captain then (to the dual horror and satisfaction of Shan) tortured the surviving Raider for information on his group and leader, then hanged him from a light post with an American flag patch stabbed into his chest as a message/calling card. He and Shan then made their escape to a secluded area of the town just as Jackson and his raiders showed up to answer the patrol's distress call. They found the corpses of their comrades and were briefly distracted by Matt setting off some .50 caliber machine gun rounds as a diversion. The couple shortly thereafter made their escape and returned home safely with Jackson and Matthew swearing revenge/declaring war on each other. The roleplay then died. Unless the roleplayer controlling Jackson and Jamie (one of the militiamen in Matt's group) decides to join the RP (and the new guild for that matter) it will be mentioned in passing that both died over the course of the roleplay, prior to the group moving deeper into Washington were they now reside. Any old RPers from Northwards, feel free to correct me.

Lets see here... Before the School I remember everyone met on a highway getting out of [Insert Major Metropolitain city here], then, they all ended up at some shack where they hung out for all of two night... Then I think they ended up with a caravan of sorts that was eventually raided by a bunch of bad guys. Everyone scurried from there to The Highschool, and proceeded to fuck up everything that Izzy had made with a rigorous and powerful force. Then I believe you just randomly showed up in the middle of a hostage situation, got into a gun fight with Izzy, and continued to claim that he was all twacked out on Meth. The two later became Mega-Bro's and Sheldon became Izzy's trusted military advisor..

Bio/Background: Before the Apocalypse, West was your typical Washingtonian. He liked to ride bikes, go on hikes, climb mountains, and have fun. Now after the apocalypse, he basically does the same things. Survival for him hasn't really been a big issue.. He was an avid outdoorsman before the apocalypse, so he just went to the mountains and did the same things he had always done. The only difference being now he could live life and have fun without worrying about paying bills.

Oh right, the recap! Yeah, I can probably write out a detailed one from when I came in (Desmond arrived right after the left that cabin, if I'm not mistaken) but imma get my post up first :P

Matt and Izzy were usually more neutral towards each other. He was friends with Desmond pretty much from the start and regardless of who was in charge, he reported to him as I recall. Either way, fun times. Fun times.

And accepted of course :P

Me and AnnaBeth are actually a good number of miles away from Mt. Rainier and are heading to the Cougar Rock Campground (it's a real place, check google maps) so you could meet up with us there. Your character could just come down from the mountain to see if things have settled or to scavenge or whatever and walk down the trails to Cougar Rock.

Lol, that's awesome! Does it actually have a wooden check-in building? I kinda just went by what I could see on Google Images, and what I know about campgrounds here in New Hampshire :P

Yeah, its been a while, but I believe there was a kiosk that you could sign in at, though they didnt have anyone constantly monitoring it. Then you could drive up some dirt roads to individual camping spots. Its been four or five years since I was there last, but I believe there was also a river near by and some cook wooded hiking spots.

Hey was wondering if there was still room I saw that there was a limit for spots, so I was hoping I could wiggle my way in if possible. Also was thinking of making siblings but if I can only have one (If any) That's fine too!
