However, when it coincides with her interests, she is able to turn every ounce of her fanatic devotion to clothing into sheer, unwavering determination. [hider2=Biography][i]One would think that, being a Dead Apostle, Amity's history might center around the point in her life when she joined the ranks of the immortal. However, that is not the case. No matter what happened prior, Amity's entire existence gained its meaning on the day that she realized her Origin, and set out on the path that it would carry her to. After that time, she fled London and found her place of solitude in Germany, perfecting her art in the secrecy of her new found lair. She rarely left her home, spending many long months and years locked up in that room, sewing new designs and practising the powers of her heritage. Perhaps she was once the daughter of a Magus family, any records of the bloodline she was once a part of are now wiped from her memory, but she retains the Crest of her family, containing much of its knowledge in the field of magecraft. She was never formally trained, but five hundred years is plenty of time to learn on your own. An undefined period of time in the past, Amity met a young human girl much like how she was before becoming a vampire. For several years, she kept this girl around as a model and friend. After that, Amity began her practise of finding young girls and "recruiting" them, using them as models for her dresses. During this time period, she may have anonymously crafted the dresses of a few famed figures, in order to test and prove her abilities. This includes those of the abnormal kind, such as within the Magic or Vampire societies. At some point in time, she got into contact with a certain group. She's been working with them for a while now, using her talents at sewing to help with a certain project. When she was chosen for the Holy Grail war, she decided to take part for the purpose of "Procuring the prerequisite materials" for a special project of hers. Also represents the Crest's assistance in this field.[/i][/*] [*][i]Extension (Bounded Fields): Expands the basic repertoire of Bounded Fields available by containing blueprints for fields specialized in indirect sensory interference(Creating mist and ambient noise) and Jamming (Preventing Long-ranged communication).[/i][/*][/list] [b]Vampirism:[/b] As a Dead Apostle, there is a certain suite of abilities that is considered commonplace for her and all of her kind. While some of theses are her natural abilities, others are as a consequence of her extended life or acquired as a necessity due to the nature of her being. [list][*]Her nearly six hundred year old body is beyond the realm of ordinary humans in terms of physical abilities, as a result of the characteristics of her vampire body. In exchange for the claws and body of an immortal superhuman, she possesses all of the conventional vampire weaknesses, and runs the risk of being hunted by the Church if she is ever exposed.[/*] [*][i]Bounded Field Creation: In order to continue surviving, it is necessary for Dead Apostles to develop methods of concealing their presence from the watchful eyes of both the Church and the Association. Therefore, most (if not all) Dead Apostles have the knowledge necessary to create powerful Bounded Fields, with the traits necessary to conceal themselves from nearly all conceivable detection methods. Protection of this calibre is on such a high level that finding a Vampire's Lair is virtually impossible unless one knows precisely where they're looking. Oh, but Amity's lair isn't even on this continent, is it...[/i][/*] [*][i]Familiars (The Dead): The traditional familiar of the Dead Apostles, these walking corpses are puppets created by vampires to collect blood for them and serve to increase their realm of influence past the safety of the vampire's lair. Because of their popularity, these zombie-like beings are rarely used by many Dead Apostles, as their presence may quickly alert the Vampire's enemies to their presence. However, as far as familiars go, The Dead are very specialized, and don't really excel at the activities of most conventional Familiars. Also covers the process of turning others into Vampires.[/i][/*][/list][/hider2] [hider2=Personal Magecraft][b]Reinforcement:[/b] The enhancement of targets by running prana through them and improving upon the target's characteristics. Amity's reinforcement abilities are quite high when reinforcing Sewing-related items, such as Needles or Thread. Otherwise, she may reinforce herself or non-living objects to a reasonable degree, due to the necessity of this skill. [b]Presence Concealment:[/b] A collection of techniques combined to create the effect of "Concealment", protecting one from detection by the foremost six senses as well as sensory techniques such as mana detection, scrying and sonar. While the concealment provided is excellent, it is neither all-inclusive or infallible, as many specialized anti-concealment detection systems will successfully reveal the caster. In addition, moving extensively, casting spells or entering a Bounded Field will all break the concealment, so one must be wary of how they move. [b]Mental Interference:[/b] Besides Memory Manipulation, there are a handful of other mental interference spells at Amity's disposal. Control, suggestion, and loss of concentration are all possible, although none of these are particularly useful when attempted on Magi. [b]Sewing Magecraft:[/b] The name for the collection and combination of techniques used for the creation of high-tier sewn Mystic Codes, as well as their related abilities and spells. This is the only "Magecraft" truly allowed for Amity, everything else she preforms is heresy. That said, this field of hers is quite expansive, so it'll have to be broken down to be understood fully. [list][*][i]Thread Manipulation: Using her specialty, Amity may directly manipulate available threads using supplied prana, moving and contorting them as if they were an extension of her own body. These threads may be used to grab opponents, assist her in her sewing or even, if she wishes, provide a means of directly interfering with her enemies across a distance. Because the thread she commonly uses is heavily reinforced with prana, this is more effective than it seems, and even her individual threads are difficult to break unless one is a being on the level of a Servant.[/i][/*] [*][i]Dressmaking: A high-class ability to create dresses that serve as Mystic Codes. Although the quality of the dresses is astounding even with conventional thread, Amity requires special materials to create truly magnificent creations. On average, Amity must spend close to day's worth in time to create an "Average" dress, and since dresses must be perfectly fitted for their intended wearer, they can never be passed between multiple users. High-tier dresses, using special preparation methods or materials, can take between one and several days, depending on the situation. Clothing other than dresses can be made, but Amity dislikes doing this, and the quality is guaranteed to be lower.[/i][/*] [*][i]Wound-closing: A type of healing that only really works on specific kinds of injury, applied by sewing wounds together and applying prana to locally stimulate the body's natural regenerative abilities.
