Aren Dexer & Misah Sounds of running filled the air as Lei'Loni soldiers bursted into the room, quickly running over to the two. Dragging unresponsive Misah away, the last thing he would see is them taking defibrillators and charging them before pushing them onto Aren and trying to revive her. They began patching up her wounds and trying to put more blood into her. They quickly transferred her over onto a moveable hovercarrier began to try and move her. Aren died six times before they were able to get her to the hospital. Then she was taken to the emergency room and was worked on for eight hours. They were able to remove all bullets and bullet fragments, but the trickiest part was removing the katana from her stomach. That took four hours to remove carefully and make sure she didn't bleed out. Meanwhile they had been interrogating Misah. The General looked at Misah and then to the file "Were you informed of what project Alphonse was?" another man slid a file over to him and put his elbows on the table, looking over at the General, who nodded. "Project Alphonse is our life source for Forgotten information. These are...their biological mothers theoretically. Each Forgotten has all five gene traits from these mothers. However there are certain Forgottens that take on to certain genes stronger then others and are stronger then the rest. Your Forgotten is one of those, that other Forgotten that was there in the project room was also one. These two were part of a program that took these certain Forgottens and tested them to see how efficient they were. Your partner was at the top of her class and was the first to graduate from the program" he slid another file "There was an accident a number of years ago that resulted in the death of ten thousand, three hundred and eighty eight people. These mothers, decided they would try and free their children. If these five are let out, the aftermath could be catastrophic." He looked at the General who still hadn't said anything, eyeing down Misah "Did you know the Lel'Loni" the man spoke to him and waited for a response. Misha remained upright as he was scrutinized, staring (figuratively) at the general and his officer with a look that hid nothing. The presented information was something he'd figured out by now, but having been blocked off from the main databanks the past few hours, made it so he couldn't confirm anything. "No. I was only exposed to such information when the facility had already been breached. If there is any reason for a Lei'Loni to attack another with the intent to free such "mothers", it would be the fact that he was a Kof'Yurr." His head ducked down, his voice getting low, "...Can I request the knowledge of my Forgotten's condition. Will she survive?" The General looked at his subordinate and nodded, the man got up and hurried out the room pulling out his phone, The General put his hands together and leaned forward "Lt.Misah this is a problem much bigger then Aren Dexer's condition. If you're claiming that this Lel'Loni was a Kof'Yurr, but we cannot be sure that you're lying for your superiors. You kin could be breaking the pact and it would mean that you are now public enemy #1 and I can not release because you could be a prisoner of war. Do you understand the situation you are in?" he eyed the Lel'Loni. He didn't like the tone nor the answer he was given, his tone tensing, "I can assure you that this is not my involvement, and you might think her life is important in comparison to such matters, but she has information regarding those who had kidnapped the five involved with Project Alphonse. Her survive is critical to having a start. Otherwise we'd just be walking blind until the next time that group attacks." The General sighed, touching the metal table, he typed on the holographic keyboard and screens popped up. A doctor appeared taking off his gloves "General" he saluted. The General waved him off, putting cupped hands to his mouth and leaning on the table "Doctor, how is Lt.Colonel Dexer?" he looked up at Misah. "Shes...it's hard to explain. We were able to successfully remove the bullets, and get her stable. Her blood type was a little harder to get but we managed. However, the sword that was stabbed into her stomach is what we had the most problems with. We removed it, but patching her up was a struggle and it sent her back into critical condition. Right now she is in the ICU wing of the building, but she keeps dipping between consciousness and on the brim of dying. I can't say if she'll survive, but she is awake right now" The General nodded "Take me to the room" "Uh...sir i dont know if I can do that. Shes still healing and it mi-" "I didn't ask, Doctor..." "...Yes sir." the screen moved behind the doctor as he went through a series of doors, before entering a huge room. Going to the door straight ahead, the doctor put a code into the wall and the door slid open. Inside Aren was hooked up to a pod looking machine and was floating inside. A breathing mask was fitted to her face and her eyes were closed. she was covered in bandages and her armor was deactivated. "Is she well to talk Doctor?" the General leaned back and sighed. He needed that information, the five were a risk. They could very well slaughter an entire city, and that was something he was trying to prevent. "Lt.Colonel, can you hear me?" Aren opened her eyes and she had rainbowed colored irises. "The General has some questions for you, do you think you are well to talk right now?" Aren nodded weakly. Misha sat up in the seat and looked at his companion with a stiff posture that clearly showed his concern. He didn't expect to see her so soon, but just the fact that she was breathing made him feel a little at ease. "Colonel, I need to know about the men who took Project Alphonse" Aren looked at the General and was quiet for a moment. "...As you know...the robots...were Lel'Loni in nature...their mind structures were...hive like. AnGel was there...im sure you...know her, though she...she had Lel'Loni tech...like my armor...however that...tech had a stronger...healing factor...much stronger..." the General nodded. "If i had to say...that...Lel'Loni was...or has control...over....them...so if you're...able to...somehow disable what...he's using...he loses a lot...of his strength" "Not enough evidently, I was notified that you were beaten in hand to hand combat by the Lel'Loni?" the General said with distaste almost. Aren looked down "Yes...Yes I did sir." "That is unacceptable, when you have recovered...Receive punishment. Both of you." he looked at Misah "Do not think this cruel, but Aren should have informed you of the crime you committed entering that room. What Lt.Colonel Dexer did, it was something none of us could do. She performed amazingly and did her best. However there is consequences that I cannot lift for both you. I can however change yours Lt.Misah and will. You will be tasked with making sure that Aren heals and will be the one to give her punishment. Thirty lashes when she heals up back to fighting strength. Until then, you will be living at the ICU" he stood up "Thank you doctor, rest well Lt.Colonel" muting the screen, he looked up at Misah. "You will be expected to report her status each day. And I gave her less punishment for your sake, however Lieutenant, just because you're a Lel'Loni, does not mean you can speak however way with me. Check your tone or I might not be so generous, what that Forgotten did was respectable, and I cannot ignore that. You are dismissed. We arel finished this interrogation" He walked towards the door opening it "Oh and Misah, you should work on your body language, you about damn near jumped out of your chair when you learned Aren was okay" he walked out and left Misah to look at Aren, who was looking at screen. The Lei'Loni would sigh if he could, instead leaning back against the chair with a slow stretch of his arms. He realized the mechanisms in his joints were getting almost locked from how tense he was. Usually he would never give off such an obvious telling of his thoughts, or argue with a higher ranking officer, but considering the topic of the wellbeing of his only companion was enough to set his mind off such things. It was only a momentary vulnerability, as he'd like to assume. Straightening out his stance, the Lei'Loni moved over and pressed the button at the side of the screen. He stood there for a moment, gazing up at the small figure held within the glass case. There were a multitude of things he was supposed to say, but prompted to choose something he wanted to say. "Rest well... Aren." He immediately turned away from the screen, not only because he could stand to see her in such a battered state anymore, but also that he wanted to remove himself of what he was to do to her. "That...All?...Bitch...you better...say...you...love me..." she giggled, before coughing and the screens next to her flashed, a nurse came in and had her arms crossed. "Aren...theres a time and place to flirt, this is not one of those times" the nurse teased her and laughed. Aren let out an aha "This knucklehead...wishes he...could find...someone like me..." she winked at Aren. The nurse looked at the screen and saw a Lel'Loni, bowing almost immediately "Oh im so sorry sir, I did not mean to intrude on your call" Aren cleared her throat "Don't worry with...him, I'd...whoop his...ass if he acted...like a pretentious...snob" the nurse let out a nervous laugh. "Anyways...when can i expect...you to come...and see me?" The nurse went up to the holographic screens and began tapping away. He turned his head, returning the a gracious nod towards the nurse, "Rather, I should be thanking you for healing this hot-headed partner of mine." Coming up to the screen, "I'll come every day to take care of you. There's no way I can just sit around idly while you recover. Right now, though. You need to rest up. That's an order. Not only from your Master, but from your friend." She winked, before closing her eyes obediently. The nurse looked at both of them with a sly smile, turning to bow at Misha before walking up to the screen and shutting it off.
