Ash walked into his favorite coffee shop, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He had spent a good deal of last night going over reports of the known conduits in the area, any new ones that maybe expected, and the possible locations of the Reaper HQ. The conduits that had been here for awhile didn't seem like the type to stir up trouble, baring the Reapers of course, so it was rather easy to keep tabs on them through a network of informants, spies, and citizens, which also helped them when any new conduit came in to town. Last night, one of his men had seen Order, a conduit vigilante he had been hearing about for sometime. She had gone to stop a crime in progress, what the crime was he didn't bother to read, and the man had left to report. Ash would've liked if he had stayed a little longer, but what was done was done. He didn't think Order would cause any trouble in town, considering how her way of operating, but he couldn't be two sure. He'd have to find her somehow, and talk to her, see what her plans are, and whether she could be recruited. Speaking of recruitment, he saw the second reason that he came to this place so much. Kiera was a conduit and a fellow Curdan Cay inmate. He had talked to her some, and had even tried to get her in to "The Dragons" during their incarceration, but she hadn't been interested. Know that he found her again, he wasn't going to take a plain no for an answer. He wouldn't force her, then they'd be no better than the DUP.'s and Augustine, but he didn't stop trying. She was a good conduit, especially in New York where she could find plenty of glass to use rather easily, unlike his Ash powers. But before he did that, he'd need his drink. He went up to the counter, a warm smile on his face, "Good Morning Kiera, mind getting me my usual drink. In case you've forgotten, it's a White Chocolate Mocha Frapuchino, with 7 pumps of Mocha, and those little chocolate shavings. Oh, and I'd also like a croissant, if you don't mind?" As he talked to her, he couldn't help but wonder at how much she looked like Scorn. You'd think they'd be sisters, almost twins. But where Kiera was good and proper, Scorn was insane and sadistic. He remembered her well from Curdan Cay, mostly because the two never got along, her violent insanity always clashing with his sense of justice.
