Personality: Calm and considerate, Keisuke - or "Teitoku" as he is more commonly called - has a relaxed and calming air, although he is frequently buffetted by the eccentricities of the people around him. He does follow policies and rules by the books, but he is willing to take loose interpretations of said rules and policies if he deems that the situation calls for it. Although he fully understands that there might come a day when it will be necessary to sacrifice not himself, but one of the ship girls under his command, for such is the burden of a leader, he still does his best to befriend and get along with all of the ship girls he meets. 

He is also known to be a strict opponent of waste and seems to be constantly bemoaning the loss of some form of resource or another. 

Abilities/Weapons: He has no fighting abilities of his own, per se, but he does command a fleet of ship girls. 

Backstory: Originally a teenager when the monsters of the abyssal first attacked, he enlisted in the naval academy in order to help protect mankind from this new and terrible threat that threatened to force humanity onto the land. When he graduated from the academy, officers who looked at his record decided to commission him as an Admiral straight out of the bat in order to take charge of the new "ship girls" who had been found to be the only beings capable of battling the abyssal fleet. When asked why him and not a more experienced officer, he was told that it was because they hoped his closer age would foster a sense of esprit de corps and companionship that an older, more conservative and strict admiral would not be able to achieve.

Ship Girls of the Admiral's First Fleet:

Carrier ship girls are archer maidens who are able to launch aircraft by firing them as if they were an arrow. The arrows transform into either a recon, fighter, bomber or dive bomber aircraft. How a small arrow is able to transform into a life sized plane is still something that the Admiral finds baffling.

Shoukaku

A calm and gentle girl who serves as perhaps the most compassionate out of all of the ship girls, Shoukaku is the secretary ship of the fleet - as such, she will be seen alongside the admiral the most, helping him with various tasks and greeting guests alongside him. Despite her role as secretary ship, she does still look up to Akagi as she is technically her senior as a carrier. During the battle of Okinoshima, she served as the Admiral's flagship. [/hider]

Battleships are the hard hitters of the fleet. Utilizing raw firepower, these ship girls are somehow able to fire weapons that have the same power and devastation as a large cannon mounted on the battleships of their namesake. The Admiral chalks that one up to the same class of mysteries as to how the carriers turn arrows into planes.

Kirishima (Kai)

As the first battleship the Admiral ever recruited, Kirishima has been with the Admiral the longest and is also one of the only two ship girls of the fleet to have an upgrade, making her much more powerful than the other battleship ship girls. She is also the most technologically capable of the fleet and as such the Admiral usually calls on her to help create new equipment for the fleet.

Yamashiro 

The last ship girl of the Admiral's fleet, Yamashiro is a girl who constantly finds herself in misfortune. Attacks that seem to go astray somehow make their way to her, she seems to trip all the time, somehow despite being the smallest threat enemies usually end up aiming for her and she ends up resting and recovering from battle a lot more than actually fighting. Despite this misfortune, however, Yamashiro does have her hopes up due to the existence of her sister Fuso, who she hopes the Admiral will someday find.[/hider]
