Ybris was surprised at what his siblings had done with his first creations, though it did make his job easier as he no longer needed to create life from scratch. Though it seemed that due to some force unknown to him he suddenly felt it was necessary to limit how long each life would last. So while it saddened it him to do he placed a maximum lifespan on anything mortal, not with a snap of his fingers but by bowing his head as he grieved. While still saddened he suddenly sensed something he considered a true travesty, a life had ended not because of anything he or one of the other Gods did but because another living creature. He instantly appeared at the site of the first murder and saw the culprit, some kind of corrupted animal. While he felt the urge to remove the life from the beast, he couldn't bring himself to do it. Instead he decided to talk to Finnos, ready to punish him somehow if he was indeed behind the creation of this monster.Taking on a physical form he grabbed the bird and teleported to his younger brother to demand answers.
