Having thrown a worrisome look towards the sleeping Night Elf in the room, half fearing the possibility that Liaena's high volume protests might have awakened Naliyah, Sharon's head eventually turned to look back at the smaller human who had adamantly blocked the exit to the room. Contemplating the possibility of levitating Liaena up into the roof, an action that surely would come back to haunt him later on, the High Elf decided to try the diplomatic approach. "The protection of the church would mean little, and I doubt they could protect me in the long run." Sharon explained, retaining his peaceful tone in the presence of the persistent Liaena. "Sherpa's plans extend far beyond the mere battle with his older brother, and if I fled, it is likely that they would continue; to whatever end." Sharon tried to reason with the little girl, though reason from Liaena when it concerned his own safety was hard come by. Letting out a sigh, Sharon let his staff sit loosely in his hand as he stared down at Liaena, taking a moment before saying anything. Letting his head hang slightly as he gazed at her, he would eventually continue. "The importance of this battle cannot be overstated. It encompasses far more than a mere rescue mission. Success in this endeavor could even lead to the banishment of the White Hand, if luck was on our side. But just as success holds great reward, failure will have dire consequences. The loss of you, Rithrynn and Serphia, would leave me exposed, as well as handicapped in the fight against Sherpa and his seemingly limitless agents. I would survive the day, only to remain a vulnerable target in remaining weeks and months. And my brother is in no hurry to finish the job. I cannot hire mercenaries forever, but the power of my brother's personal army will keep growing." Sharon explained, taking a good time with each sentence and keeping a steady volume all the way through. Partly to make it more digestible and coherent, but also as to not awaken Naliyah either. The door to the bedroom was after all still locked. "With the kidnapping of your friend, Sherpa has forced out hands. I cannot afford to sit idle. The success of this mission is paramount, and we cannot afford to fail." Sharon eventually continued, suddenly smiling down at Liaena. "And if things really go to hell, my magical expertise will be invaluable in getting us out!"
