These soldiers would not require Basic Combat Training. But they would require a train up session just to familiarize themselves with each other. Also, there are an infinite number of techniques a squad or platoon can execute any number of movement formations/techniques. The difficulty in any unit is getting everyone on the same sheet of music. For our purposes, none of that is relevant and the train up session can be notional.
