In terms of era of war I was thinking along the lines of modern up to slightly in the future, think Arma III, problem I have with a WWII setting is its historical and I will be dealing with historical sides to this war, unless you're just talking about WWII era tech, then maybe. As I said in the summary I would want to keep it strictly at two factions, there won't be that many writers and I want to make sure each side has a healthy number.
