As the scaled Argonian stood ready he felt a surge of adrenaline flow through his veins as Leonidas seemed to calmly stroll towards their visitor, the man seemingly unnerved by whatever or whoever was there. Dreet-Na stared at him in somewhat disbelief, unsure of quite how to react – hesitating for a brief moment as he watched the dark haired man. 

At that second there was a flash of light, a glowing ball of what he recognised as magelight flashing and hurling towards Leonidas as he made to look around the rock they had been focused on. The combination of the flash and his distraction at the young Imperial’s actions mean that Dreet-Na did not see the arrow hurtling towards him, and only grunted as the projectile found it’s mark. Staggering backwards slightly as the shaft buried itself into his abdomen Dreet-Na growled as pain blossomed through him, his hand instinctively grasping around the protruding shaft as his life’s blood began to flow free staining his robes red as it did. 

His face distorted into somewhat of a snarl as he wasted little time in pulling the arrow free, another deep growl escaping him as he did so, gritting his teeth at the pain. He glanced towards his attacker, half expecting to see Leonidas lying in a pool of blood – but saw only that this unseen foe had fled. Taking a breath to calm himself slightly Dreet-Na focused as he cast healing on himself, the restoration magic flowing through him as the wound quickly began to close itself up as the flesh knitted back together. As always it felt strange, somewhat unpleasant and itchy as the magic did its work. 

Moments later Dreet-Na was once more stood straight, waving away any of his companions who had witnessed the wound. A determined and sour expression upon his face he began to stride towards where the figure had fled, ignoring Leonidas completely as he did – intent on investigating this threat further. He made sure however that he was prepared to cast Ebonyflesh upon himself at the slightest of provocations should he need, intent on not suffering another unpleasant wound or worse.
