Bella walked through the halls, staring at a map that she held up to her face. "It must be this way," she mumbled quietly to herself. She continued past several classrooms. She was slightly nervous as she had never had a good sense of direction. It was her first day at this new school, and she did not want to be late.
     She turned a corner and smiled slightly, seeing a line of students gathered outside a door. This must be the office! Bella hurried to join the other kids. She leaned against the wall and waited, tossing the map into her backpack. After a little while she heard her name called. Bella stepped into the office, slightly nervous as she always was on the first day of school, but hopeful that everything would go well.
