As for Ganondorf, I meant there were fewer exposed straps that were less essential individually, where Darknuts essentially had just two straps holding all of their armor on for some odd reason, which never made sense to me. Actual armor had multiple straps per individual plate, so cutting a couple straps would only cause a single plate to fall off rather than the entire suit. That's more what I was trying to get at, I just failed to gather the right words for it.
