Name: Arthur Age: 18 Sex: Male Gender: Female His” name is Arthur, and he is 18 years of age. Bubbly and cheerful in nature, he is a loving and friendly young man, who lives with his older sibling. He adores and loves them with all his heart, and will do anything he can to make them proud of him, not wanting to let them down after they have been so good to him for so very, very long. He always knew he was different to most boys when growing up. He hated sports and the rough and tumble games that most males played, much preferring playing with the girls and their dolls. When it came to dress up play, he didn't want to be a firefighter or a policeman, or in the army, he wanted to be a pretty princess, or a fairy, or a nurse. As he grew older, he never seemed to "grow out of the phase", much to the disgust of his highly religious and old-fashioned mother and father, who followed the "men should be men" and "women should stay at home" train of thought. As a result of this, he was disowned at the age of eleven by them, and put into care.... But.. This proved to be the best thing that ever happened to him. He ended up in the care of his older sibling after they rediscovered him, know wanting to be known as her/”Ruth”. They were more than accepting of his crossdressing tendencies, and his want to eventually identify as female. They bought him dresses, skirts, make-up, etc, and made him feel loved and accepted. No image for Ruth/Arthur. ____ Arthur stood apprehensively in front of the new school he was due to attend, turning to face his older sister as he bit nervously on his lip, causing it to bleed slightly, though this stopped as soon as he ran his tongue across the cut, swearing under his breath. "Sis? I really don't want to go..." Looking down, the brunette glanced back up at the older of the two siblings, eyes... sad and nervous. He was dressed in baggy jeans, off-white sneakers and a slightly over sized black and red checked shirt, open over a blue t-shirt, a Superman logo on the chest. These were among the only masculine clothes he'd wear, and even then, it was rare he did so. See, Arthur wanted to be known as "Ruth". He wanted to dress as, act like... be a girl! Not a boy. He hated his gender. He hated having to be masculine around strangers. He wanted to be feminine. To wear skirts or dresses, pretty shoes and make-up, to be as pretty and as close to a girl as he possibly could, pre-transition... But.. He didn't have the confidence to be like this around anybody but his sister. ___ I am mainly looking for three possible characters, though am happy to double up and accept one player, with us using two characters each. Obviously, I am looking for someone to play Arthur/Ruth's older sister. I do not care what their personality, etc, is like. All that matters is that they love and care for their sibling. Next, I'd like someone to play a new friend for Arthur. Again, personality doesn't matter. Nor does gender, social standing, and so on. I personally love the idea of a "popular" guy/girl falling from grace, (perhaps s/he bullies Arthur at first), and the two finding the good in each other, making friends that way. Arthur likes both genders, so romance is fine, but must me drawn out. Lastly, depending on what the person playing the sister likes/wants, a best friend/partner/wife/husband/whatever for her. That is up to them, though. Two line minimum, please be literate. Posts will be taken in turns. I.E: Me, The sister, the best friend, the 4th character, and repeat. Thanks. Plot will depend on characters, etc. We can create a plot together, as I feel brainstorming things like this work better. I'd like a writing sample, like I have attached to mine, and a character before we discuss plots, with these things transferring to the actual RP at some point.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to write them with their female name and she/her pronouns? I'm sorry, I'm just a little confused, I think i understand they're a trans woman but nervous about presenting femininely in public, tho wouldn't they still be internally be female even if they can't present?

Yep, but at the moment, it'll be male. He has two sides. When dressed as a girl, he has the confidence and wants to be "her". When he can't be confident enough, he doesn't like correcting people, so puts up with male pronouns.

Ahh, I see, that makes more sense. It seems like when he's in the latter he'd probably feel more dysphoria. Like, I'm actually a trans girl too, and due to several unfortunate circumstances, I'm forced a lot of the time to present as male, and I'd say that's been causing dysphoria for me. But now that I think of it, that may not have to be the case for Arthur/Ruth, since different people experience gender dysphoria in different ways
