Mithrail inhaled just as Sol launched the shards of metal at her and dived forward. The technique titled "Horse and Archer" was a quick step meant to escape in a random direction during any interval. Mithrail turned it into one burst of speed so fast and with so much power behind it, the ground behind her turned into powder. 

The shards of metal bounced of the incoming shock-wave, and Mithrail ended up in front of Sol, using her cocked right hand to throw a punch to his stomach.
