Look, guys, one of my goals with these two bosses is to get a feel for how the characters will be played in combat. I'm still working the kinks out. If I have to specify whether something actually could do harm or couldn't, I will. I thought since it affected a solid object (the walls and ceiling), it would be obvious that it was intended to do actual harm. As for the whole Master Sword deal, it's not because of lore, it's strictly a new addition to add challenge. For one, Ganondorf is, as Bee noted, unaware of the Master Sword being able to harm him. Two, they actually have it there. If it weren't present, I'd have not included that detail. As for Samus, if you refer to her sheet she has greatly enhanced strength both from genetic enhancements and augmentation from being in a suit of power armor. Both Rawk and Link got off without a scratch as well, so I'm not sure how Samus not getting hit is an issue. If you guys will have waited, I had a whole sequence with Samus planned that involved some very heavy damage (to Samus, not to Volvagia) for the next post.
