True as that may be, the ability to manipulate photons in itself is impossible, so the whole situation requires a fair bit of suspension of disbelief. With things like controlling and building technological constructs with one's mind and imbuing arrows with kinetic energy, altering their velocity and vector, and other such things, it isn't that far of a stretch. So why not, I say. Nice to see another science enthusiast though!
