Wolf immediately began gulping down water, trying to quench his thirst and ease his body. For a moment, he felt the pain of the burns sharpen, then slowly disappear as they seemed to heal within moments. He slowed in his drinking, taking every drop from the bottle, before he started breathing again. He felt... Whole. Mostly. The burns and cuts healed almost miraculously, and his mind cleared with the cessation of pain. The growling stopped. Taking a few deep breaths, he opened his eyes to see the angel, Martyr, and his eyes went wide. His burns may not entirely be gone, but he could see that the rest had seared into her flesh, somehow his pain becoming hers. He moved, much slower this time, and reached out at her slightly. "You should not have done that. Whatever 'that' is. It was my burden to bear. I would not have you do so for me." He looked very concerned. "How am I to repay this favor?" He would ask, a slight undertone of sadness creeping into his voice.
