Right. I forgot to establish this rule in the opening post so I'll do it here: when a digimon is a destroyed, it will turn into a cloud of data. If the cloud is left alone, it will simply reform into a digi-egg, though there is a possibility that the digimon may lose some or all of their memories from this. However, it is possible that while a digimon is in this 'cloud of data' state, that a digimon, much like in Tamers, can absorb the data into themselves in order to become stronger. If that happens, the digimon who's data is absorbed will be GONE. Forever. They are never coming back.
