Exit?! Door?! Calypso got up and ran into the next room, which happened to be the kitchen, and hid in the corner, her head between her knees.

Ellie didn't wait for an answer after she heard the announcement of a door. She quickly began opening cabinet doors and looking for anything odd. Her mind was racing and screaming. They had to find the door.

She heard the voice speak of a door, but she also imagined the same exact voice cackling behind their backs at how pitiful and how desparate they looked searching for a door that she believed....didn't even exist. So instead of making a fool of herself like these two idiots, Evelyn remained in her corner, silently glaring at the two girls who scurried about searching for the supposed exit, just waiting for the hope to drain from their faces and fall to the floor. "Just quit...." She muttered under her breath, curling her legs closer to her. "Why are you even bothering to search, when you know nothing is there?"

James spoke again. "There is a door. I'm not lying about that. If I didn't put a door, my partner would slap me. And by the way, the ones looking through cabinets look really stupid."

Core grinned. This was more like it. There was an exit. There was a riddle, with an answer. Now all she had to do was find it. Core took off her glasses and cleaned them, before looking at the walls around her. She didn't feel like being social at age moment. --- Iris sat, twirling her short hair. She had her sunglasses over her eyes and was scheming. From just looking at her it would be hard to tell since almost her entire face was covered up. What could she do with these people.

James looked at Iris. "So, what will we have planned if they find the door? Should we let _her_ in there with them? Or do you think we shouldn't put them in that much danger yet?"

"Pfft, whatever." Evelyn muttered back in reply to the voice. "Why the hell would you just lock someone in a room, then let them escape. Either you're planning something or you're just as stupid as those dumbasses looking through the cabinets."

James spoke through the intercom, yet again. "You'll just have to find that out for yourselves. This first test is to see if you're at least smart enough to survive the first part."

"She's too dangerous to introduce too early, but I'll go in if necessary or entertaining. And if they find the door we'll have to spice it up with some danger." Iris spoke calmly and collectively. She was prepared for almost anything.

James chuckled, then looked at Iris. "Well, I can always make a forest on the other side to trick them, with the real door in a clearing a few miles away."

That would be entertaining," Iris responded, showing no change in emotion. --- Core decided she needed to be social to escape. Learn everyone's body language, habits and other things. She needed to learn things about her new acquaintances that could prove useful.

James nodded, then a keyboard appeared floating in front of him and he typed something. "Okay, done." A few more monitors appeared, showing a forest.

Evelyn was already annoyed by the intercom voice, so much she would rather find the speaker just to rip it out and have some peace for once, but then again...it would be difficult judging by the worry worts she was stuck with to find any shred of tranquility. A bitter huff of warm air exhaled, she pushed herself upwards to her feet glaring at the wall in front of her, figuring that if someone was speaking to them...they were also watching them. "You want a test huh?" Evelyn grumbled gritting her teeth. "Let's see how long you survive when I find your sorry asses! How's that for a test?" Her red eyes flashed dangerously and her fists were clenched to her side ever tight...until her knuckles were burning white.

James chuckled. "Good luck with that," he said over the intercom. "And if you do find us, good luck touching me."

Olivia got herself to stand up straight after getting her head together from standing where she was. And before she knew it, the girl on the couch suddenly woke up panicking. Olivia gets startled causing her to make a short jump and then spazzing her arms into three or four poses within the span of a second until she ended on one pose with her hand hovering slightly over her head and the other hand vertically in front of her chest. Her hair was now covering her face again, taking away visual once again. Olivia then turned her head towards the direction of the feminine voice that yelled out. Then the intercom came back on. Dang. Things were getting intense. Olivia realized she had been quite so far, but she didn't care right now. She was too busy listening to the others and the intercom. She remains where she is awkwardly in her pose still, not realizing it as she tries to process everything in her mind. A door they say? How do you even hide a door?! Sure you could with some with a curtain or something, but that would be too easy! No matter. Seems like there's a test to pass. And from the sound of it, it's stressing people out. Or it's about to if anything.

"Calm down Calypso, calm down," Calypso muttered to herself. Okay, think about all you know. My name is Calypso, I'm seventeen, I'm in some white place and am being tested like a lab rat. She actually began to calm down a bit. Just a little. Without any comforting, she was sure to be in her corner for a while.

"Heh, I always love a good challenge." Evelyn smirked lightly and rose up both her middle fingers towards the wall, now that she had their attention. "So consider this challenge accepted!" After her little show of defiance, she dropped her hands to her side, noting two things. One, the girl who was flipping out and screaming finally shut up. And two, there was some other girl stuck in some idiot pose. Evelyn just ignored her though and went back to her corner. At least now that it was quiet, she could think.

There was a door in the way. Doors were bad when they were closed, annoyingly big and shiny. It just stood there, gloating, as Mia glanced around the room, searching for another method to reach her prey. She could hear it, the beating of tiny little hearts, some courageous, some scared out their minds! It was a beautiful little symphony of mice, all singing a different tone, like a strawberry shortcake made of sound. To Mia, there was nothing better in the world. Well, maybe eating those hearts was. What's the point of cake if you don't eat it, after all? With an echoing bang, her fist slammed into the steel door. She growled, her nails sinking into the metal. An ear-piercing screech could be heard as she slowly dragged them down, leaving scar-like grooves in the metal surface. An automated message played, but she already knew what it was going to say. She'd been listening to it forever and ever and ever! How long had she been stuck in this room anyway? How much longer would it take? How tough was this door going to be? Banging and banging and banging. The door dented further and further, the explosive boom! Boom! Boom! echoing far and wide. It wouldn't take long, she'd get through. No wall would stop her forever, no door would gloat at her and get away with it! With each strike she became more enraged, slicing and slamming, as the automated message played in the background. This door was everything she hated, it was the people with the guns, the man in the microphone, it was the people in the suits! Every time she came down here, she was kept on a leash, like a dog. She'd rip through this door, and rip them all apart! On a table in the middle of the room stood a large pair of shackles, with automatic clamps. A monotone voice still spoke, as a silent alarm came on in the viewing chamber. 'Please put on the restricting gear. The door will not open until you wear the shackles. If you wear the shackles, you will be permitted into the next area. Please put on the restricting gear...'

Ellie immediately ceased her look for the door in the cabinets and ran off to one of the bedrooms. She searched under the bed and behind the small tables. She couldn't find a single thing though. "Why is no one else searching? We could get out of here!" Ellie was practically screaming, her mind was angry and that led to her being angry as well.

Door?! What?! She processed what she'd heard the girl upstairs scream, then breathed deeply once more and got up. She got up, and headed upstairs to where she'd heard the girl. "Because we're just rats in a lab. Even if we find that damn door, it won't do us any good! We'll keep living, and they'll just keep using us, testing us, over and over again because it's their sick little game!" She then looked up, as if speaking to the people through the intercom. "And don't you dare, don't you even dare, tell me that isn't true! Fine, I'll play your sick and twisted little game! That's all my life has ever been with my fucked up brain!" With that, she went downstairs into the living room and began to search for a door under the couches, and felt for a trapdoor under the rug.
