"Answer her question Larris," Korick commanded sternly, though not yet abandoning his seat, "How did you know to come here, do not simply assume I'm willing to accept your promise of good will and over look the fact your are undead."  He then rose to his feet, clenching his pipe between his teeth.  Beth got up with him, standing behind him.  Now that he knew the truth of Larris's condition he had to be certain he could be trusted before he would take a step further.
