It would be very weird! The main problem is that you've had interactions with other player's characters, so if you changed your timeline you would also be changing theirs. It also seems a bit unnecessary given that you could make your character go away right now and do whatever anyway. 

Also a point regarding your last post: Do you intend to make the 'Vanguard' a guild, or were you just referring to general groups that follow after the scout group?
