Angelo watched and saw him make a sign one handed and he went down to the earth and Angelo knew he was in trouble, he never did well against earth style techniques and right now it seemed that Angelo chose the worst person to spar against since his body could take on any needles he threw. Angelo saw him as he put a charred bone out from the ground and Angelo couldn't dodge in time so he had to block and as a result when the bone exploded and sent shrapnel towards him it hurt most of his arms causing lacerations. If anything it would hurt Angelo to make a sign or even throw his needles so Angelo was thinking that he had only one option at this point as he grabbed one his needles with a shaky hand he was about to put it in himself but then a solid punch in the gut made Angelo gasp for air. The punch belonged to the medical ninja and he whispered "a sparring match doesn't mean you kill yourself" He said that before Angelo fainted unconscious.

Then a few seals were formed before the ninjustsu instructor called "earth style: earth pillars justsu" as he smashed his hands to the ground forcing pillars to erupt from the ground and catching Ryu in one and making him kiss the roof hard so to speak before the pillars went back to the ground and he landed on his back " The exploding bone was a bit much for sparring" He said softly to him before turning to the others "well since they were sparring im going to assume the rest of you are ready for your real training"
