"Daigo-san! Daigo-san!"

His eyes blurred into focus, and Daigo sat up abruptly. Looked like he was in a bed, hospital of some kind. Next to him he saw Elecmon staring at him, using its paws to shake him awake.

"You're awake, Daigo-san." said Elecmon with a sigh of relief, "I thought I might have lost you."

At this Daigo merely put hand on Elecmon's head in a sort of patting gesture, also giving his partner a smile, Elecmon being one of the few who Daigo would ever genuinely smile to, "Where are we, Elecmon?" he asked, looking around at the place. Seemed like a normal enough hospital, but that couldn't be true. Not after the kind of circumstances that went into bringing them here. Daigo remembered something and took the red and gold digivice out from his inner coat pocket and showed it to Elecmon, "What do you think? Is it a Digivice?"

Elecmon sniffed of the device and shrugged, "I think so. Does that make this the Digital World?"

Daigo stood up, placing the Digivice back in his inner coat pocket, "Sitting around here isn't going to solve anything. Come, Elecmon, let's figure out where we are."

"Uh, wait, Daigo-san!" said Elecmon, now gesturing to another part of the room, "What about them?"

Daigo looked, and found out he wasn't alone in this room. There were others here, and Digimon from the looks of it as well. He wasn't the last tamer, then, it seemed. Perhaps in another situation, he would have been more glad to learn this, since that meant there were at least a few more rivals he could fight. But now wasn't the time. His first priority needed to be figuring out where this was, and then finding a way back home.

A beep from the hallway got his attention and Daigo ran from the room he was in to find out who was coming. Whoever it was, they probably had the answers. Someone else was in the hallway, a girl. Maybe she had the same idea as him?
