The bustling residents of New Manhattan go about their day to day lives unbeknownst the ongoing terror approaching them. Heroes and villains have fought in the past, but no villain could match the oncoming evil approaching. A rift opens in the Allen building and out steps a team of costumed gods. They exterminate all life within the building before toppling it and causing a chain of reactions akin to dominoes. They begin a rampage of terror across the world. The pitiful attempts of the superheroes along with the small amount of 'villains' who joined the fight do little to stop the pseudo-gods. The other villains either take advantage of the situation for a short while until the team of 'gods' exterminate them or try to ally themselves with the 'gods'. Only ending their fate as quickly as those who opposed them. The only survivor of the catastrophe is Robert Engstler, a 'villain' who only seeks the greater good for humanity. He quickly assembles a time machine with what little resources and time he has left before the 'gods' can make it to New Manhattan. He travels back to before the event to warn the heroes and villains, and gather them together to train and be ready for the oncoming evil. --- This is an RP partly based on the DC comic 'Forever Evil'. I will be playing Robert Engstler and you are free to choose whether to be a hero or a villain. The roleplay will mostly be about the training of the group and will therefore involve more character development than action. Name: Vincent van Manson Alias (optional): Glitch Age: 16 Personality: Semi Psychopathic, Vincent is willing to do whatever it takes. His sense of morals don't really extend vary far, and he is sometimes seen as willing to do whatever. He has a single moral compass, he wants to keep the world safe. He feels that as long as the world is safe and functioning at a reasonable technological level, he will get his games and more spirits to power him up. In life Vincent feels an assistant need to level up, and treats life like a game. Appearance: Glitch has red eyes, pure white hair, pale skin, and razor sharp teeth. He usually wears a combination of the clothes in games that he particularly liked. These include a brown leather WW2 flight jacket, the pipboy 3000, a belt with pokeballs and Simon Belmont's whip on it, and the master sword strapped to his back. Backstory: Glitch was the young 16 year old son of a fundamentalist psycho and her husband. She hated video games and when she found out that he had been sneaking games into her house for years she locked him deep in the multistory nuke bunker that she had never told anyone about. He died there among the rats, but he came back to life and fed on the rats that fed on him. Eventually he restored power and found he could control the things in his games and make them real. He eventually found he could travel into the internet, after finding an old computer connected to an ancient military instillation. There he found there were other being like himself, creatures that were known as gaming creepypastas, and he found they hurt people. While he wasn't beyond killing for a good cause, like keeping his life secret, he abhorred the fact that these others seemed to kill for sheer pleasure. He vowed to keep the internet safe, and began to one by one capture them and keep them in a giant hardrive bank he slowly built in one floor of his bunker over the course of years, and he used a giant screen to keep an eye on more reports of creepypastas and to speak with those he had already captured. Powers: - He can control technology - He can control spirits that reside within video-games - He can make video game things materialize and digitize, including his spirits and himself - He has various powers, such as severely limited teleportation and the ability to use focused binural beats to make people hallucinate or commit suicide, that he gains from his spirits. Weaknesses: - He looses almost all his power if his spirits escape - He is useless without some source of gaming tech - He might die in the event of an EMP, which his bunker is thankfully protected against Equipment: - His Pipboy 3000, which has a firewall to hold spirits and contains his most powerful spirits he can control. - A collection of game weapons, which he uses in physical fights. Name:Klemend Zdrakov Alias:Cowl Age:19 Personality:Klemend is shy and quiet. He almost never starts a conversation and can be overpowered on social situations rather essily. He speaks softly and raises his voice at virtually no point in time and, in fact, hasn't yelled in his entire life. Despite this Klemend has a strong moral compass and believes in peace and protection for all. He is also very selfless and willing to risk his life to save almost anyone, some often mistake this impulse for fatalism. Appearance:Dark brown skin, has a slight almost frail build (though he do sent look sickly) has thick black hair, but this is rarely seen. His eyes have no pupils, giving him the appearance of being blind, which he is not. His "costume" is very simple when compared to many other heroes. He wears a large, billowing cloak that is a grayish blue color with black vertical lines. Underneath he wears a grey bodysuit that gives the appearance in pattern of a mummy wrapped in grey badages, it covers all but his eyes. Backstory:Cowl was born incredibly poor, and he was orphaned at an early age. Travelling from foster home to foster home it quickly becsme apparent that he had trouble making friends. His quiet nature quickly lead to teasing and, eventually, bullying. One day Klemend ran into alleyway to try and hide from his tormentors. As he heard them approaching his location he began quietly crying and saying to himself, "I want to be someplace else, I want to be someplace ekse..." and that's when the clock draped itself over him, and took him someplace else. As Klemend marveled at what had happened he decided to try it again. After saying the phrase once or twice more and thinking if a specific place, it enveloped him, and he appeared exactly where he had wanted to be. He also learned that the cloak gave him other magical powers, and could even block bullets with the right words. He vowed from then on to help all those in need. Powers:He can use the cloaks magic to teleport himself and others He can use it to make minor magical spell blasts He can change the cloaks composition and abilities He can use the cloak to make himself dull, not invisible but a bit different (ask if you want full clarification) Weaknesses:The cloak is the source of all his powers, if he loses it, he loses his powers. His magic, other than teleportation is limited, and can be countered by other magic or a powerful enough oponent. Equipment Cloak of power:This is cowl's end all, be all item. I'd reccomened using [this website ](http://spellcheckplus.com/)it essentially checks your grammar and spelling for you which is great if you're like me and can't really spot the small stuff. Another way would be to just copy and paste your CS into word, it's probably not as good as spellcheckplus but it does the job.

By repeating the words "go away, go away, go away..." the cloak emits short range blasts of magical energy. Visually this takes the form of short range darkly colored spheres of concussive energy (completely non lethal) however, though Cowl won't admit it, the cloaks power can do much more, he is just to timid to tap into the greater reserves within.
