The second and much larger half is due sometime later today so there will be plenty to chew on 8) **Edit:** Fern did the honor of posting the first half and after I've hammered out the final segment, the second half will move our plot along, at which point; posting will resume! Please excuse RoleplayerGuild's inadequate functions. Last I heard, Mahz was working on delivering more features and restoring BBCode to the lineup so we won't have these irritable features for long.

Well, I know it's been awhile, but I _did_ promise a post and as such, I am a man of my word. The dinner party is an opportunity to explore certain plot avenues as our characters mingle amongst the other guests. You all know that I am here and that I will answer any questions forwarded my way. I'll also have summaries ready for you, Ivory and Squrmy so don't think I've forgotten about you two!

Peik, you'll probably reiterate that last phrase in addition to a string of foul sounding curse words a good dozen times over the next several or so episodes, hahahahaaa.

Knowing Korkud he'll probably take his anger out by some good old fashioned murder-who's-responsible pastime.

I would not expect anything less from a man of Korkud's stature. On a side note, how is everyone? It's been a little while and I figured we'd start January off with a bang. If anyone's still checking the OOC, what are you peeps up to and how's your New Years and January been? I know the question's a little late given that it's almost February, but I figured it'd be good to at least check in to see how everyone's doing as of lately.

I'm doing alright. My MGS3 just arrived from Australia. I'll be playing it until MGSV.

Extremely busy in multiple areas. :/ On the other hand, with how long it's been, I'm surprised to see anything posted in here again.

Well, it's certainly good that some of you are still around. Keeping busy with Minecraft, Readings, Side-projects or Games really does setup a huge time-sync as do documentaries and TV Series. I think that keeping a modest base for informational references helps as far as inspiration's concerned. Personally, I've been gaming here and there, but I've put my focus on TV series set in the Renaissance like The Virgin Queen, The Musketeers, and the Borgias. Films wise, Anonymous is an intriguing film as is the documentary, "The Medici - Godfathers of the Renaissance". Highly recommended for re-envisioning a cinematic feel of the Renaissance, its subsequent surroundings, and noticeable environments. There are too many readings and films to go about these days and opportunities for creative outlets so it's a small wonder that we all haven't already set our keyboards ablaze with story material. Do any of you want to form a Skype group or utilize Titanpad for Plot and Brainstorming Purposes? This way, we can have another means for communing to share ideas.

I would be up or a Titanpad for brainstorming and also for the party for the group to begin to interact. A pad makes it a little easier for dialogue without short posts. Just my two cents.

Yes please. Skype is easier for chatting, Titanpad is easier to save stuff. I'm fine with either.

Welp! It looks like Titanpad and Skype are winners so let's go ahead and exchange/create (if you haven't already) Skype names for future collaborations and brain storming. This way, we can communicate and exchange ideas while also having a medium for more accessible idea storage! When we're fully setup, we can start forwarding our notes and have instant chat discussions. So far, Titanpad's worked very well, collaboration wise and we have Peik and Fern to thank for the mentions! Really looking forward to adding you all on Skype and using Titanpad to continue what we know as posting and storytelling 8)

How would you like us to exchange Skype names? I have an Internet account (I guess) already set up, so im ready to give that out. It means you guys actually get to see my face, eek, and first name (which I'm less bothered about) but that's just the price I have to pay I think that for this part of the roleplay at least titanpad and skype are the way forward for interactions and the like

Open a fake account. I'm using one of the many I have. And no need to see your face either - it's not like we'll be video chatting.

Well, we CAN video chat-it's just not necessary. Skype calls can be video only, and there's just typing. So WHERE are we posting that, as I prefer to not post that in a public thread.

It's already my internet account but I guess I could make a third one for this. Skype calls don't need videos yeah.

@ Nevis and Peik - You both make good points. @ Fern - Very generous of you to offer to Video Chat even if it's solely a personal choice. Skype chatting can involve video, but can also be voice chat centric for communications purposes. It can certainly be an alternative to international calls so long as internet accessibility is achieved. We'll definitely be able to move forwards once we've all setup our Skype accounts and exploit Titanpad's utilities. Question: In all of your honest opinions, are the long posts daunting to the point of the tl;dr experience or are they perfectly viewable and desired? We have dozens of plot avenues, but as a fellow writer and SM, I don't want you all to feel intimidated with writing content. Let me know your thoughts everyone 8)

I personally think it depends on the content of the post. If it's just a conversation I can understand it being short but if it's an introduction to an important event or something I can understand it being long. Matter of context, really.

I'm fine with any sized post. The only thing with long posts, it takes me a while to read it all (and thus it takes me longer to respond).
