The Swordswoman - Restaurant District, Yggdrasil
The gunman took one look at Gilgamesh threatening to skin him and promptly threw his weapon to the ground and put his hands in the air. Clearly he was not made of particularly stern stuff. Unfortunately for him, his fellow Shadow Eternity soldier took notice. His weapon snapped up and he promptly fired a beam of light into the surrendering man's back. He fell to the ground with a gurgle before lying still, dead. "We won't let you take any prisoners!"
The shooter stepped forward, possibly possessing suicidal confidence as he drew a faintly-glowing knife in his free hand and held the rifle with his other. The other gunmen looked... somewhat disturbed, to say the least, at the murder of one of their comrades by one of their own. But one of them stepped towards Gintoki, drawing a glittering knife of his own. It seemed like they possessed some kind of power beyond mere combat knives. The extent of this was difficult to determine just by looking at it.
The woman's smile grew as Nono described just how dangerous her full abilities truly were. If one were to look close, it was clear her cheeks were even flushed with excitement. "Oooh... You'll have to show me sometime~ ... Minus killing me, that would be no fun at all~"
As Nono charged, the woman brought her katana up as swiftly as possible, and the blade flashed each time she moved to deflect a blow. However, it was difficult for her to go on the offensive. In fact, it almost seemed as if she was not attempting to go on the offensive, though that may simply have been because it was hard to find an opening. And all at once, a single block was a split second too late. A powerful blow struck the woman squarely in the right shoulder, and she spun. It was obvious it would have hurt, and given Nono's nature it probably would have shattered a normal person's shoulder.
However...
Clutching her shoulder, the swordswoman spun, katana flashing through the air. And yet the blade was swinging in a manner that would avoid Nono's head or body. Unless she had vital systems in her arm, all it would take if the blade's attack was successful was some repairs to reattach it. Of course, that was if it hit.
Kirisame Marisa, Client World 12262009-A
Wrapping her legs around her broom tighter, and holding her hat on with her free hand, Marisa tilted her head as she watched the brunette girl pull out one of those gun things. Deciding to play it safe, she drifted into the air a little further, twirling the goggles on her finger as she mulled over what the girl had explained to her. They weren't hers, huh? So were all those books, Alice's underwear, that nuclear missile, the box of toys, the crane game(stealing that from Kourindou had been an interesting experience), one of Patchouli's nightcaps, and... and... a whole lot of stuff! But she still took them.
"Suuuure, you can have 'em back!" Marisa said, brightly, before leaning forward and pulling down one eyelid while she stuck out her tongue. "When I'm dead!"
Marisa wasn't always malicious. Perhaps if she knew how important the goggles actually were, she might have returned them. But as it stood, the moment she spotted the guy grow wings, she was off like a shot, fleeing on her broomstick. She'd have to lose them, but Marisa was certain she wouldn't have trouble there!
???, Research Facility
It was hard, but she did her best. The girl's prosthetic moved as fast as she could manage, blocking each strike that came for her. Each one left a small gash in the material, but it was better than what would have otherwise happened. She raised her pistol in a bid to fire, but the kick took her off-guard and sent her to the ground. The girl let out a yelp as she landed on her backside in the jam. This... was not an advantageous position to be in while in combat. Swiftly, she attempted to calculate an escape route... when something unexpected happened.
The stuffed-toy-like creature leapt at her head. As swiftly as she could, her prosthetic snapped up in a bid to grab the creature. If successful, Charlotte would find herself caught in a vice-like grip... until she was promptly tossed at Cinder.
The Mushroom Kingdom
People were getting hurt, there were bad guys attacking the kingdom... and... and all the commotion was ruining her tea party!
This iteration of the Mushroom Kingdom's Princess Peach was, needless to say, upset and worried, sitting in her room. She was not allowed out to avoid capture, but she could still give some kind of decree! The elder Toad had told her that the Bullet Bills were ready, the stars had been deployed, and those UMMA guys had been contacted.
The attacking members of Shadow Eternity would perhaps be quite surprised when all the Kingdom's defenders pulled back... and a wave of massive black bullets with grinning faces was launched at them. But not only that. Thousands upon thousands of Toads poured from the gates of the castle. A cheerful tune blasted from the onrushing army, and each Toad flashed a rainbow of colors as they charged.
On top of all this, the familiar voice of Shadow Eternity's leader blared in their communication systems.
"
What are you doing?!"
