First I have to say that this post made me laugh. Like..I couldn't type at first because I kept looking back up at your post and I would just lose it. 
You didn't come across as mocking to me! I actually understand where you are coming from. I hated the whole emo feel in SAO. When it wasn't present was when I really enjoyed the show! 
I suppose it could be that if something does happen to a character that has a significant other they can either make a short post about it or..I dunno talk about it PM. While I would like to see some emotion I don't want the RP to be ALL emotion. By emotion I mean that emo stuff xD 

I don't really know if that makes sense. So basically all I can say is that No, it will not turn to something like that lol.
