His cheeks had some tiny sparks crackling on them that made Addy jump slightly but she attempted her best to tough it out.

[color=orange]"Were you going to eat?"[/color] She asked, a heavy feeling in her chest. She wanted ever so desperately to run away and hide in her games like she always had, to fade into the background. But now she felt obligated to stay with this boy, almost like one feels obligated to help a stray kitten, hurting on the side of the road. 

She felt her mood physically drop as the thoughts came to her. She must look like such a depressing individual and in fact she might just be. It would take a lot for someone to change her... Either that or someone very very annoying.
