First there is no uniforms, second there is no distinct place where it set... Third there are dorms, if your character lives near the school then you don't have to have dorms. Fourth, the town is quite big like a mix of shibuya and the normal housings. And finally it is a mix of cultures but mostly probably. Bit of Japanese and American together. It pretty diverse.
