Julius walked (read as: ran) around energetically, his eyes practically sparkling as he took in the Platform 9[sup]3/4[/sup]. He would stare at everyone's pets, and compare them to Rocky (Rocky was the better one, of course) or run towards the nearest concessionaire and gawk over the magical items being sold, then beg his mother to buy him one (she said no) and once even brought out his wand to see if that spell he'd read from his Defense Against the Dark Arts book would work. His dad snatched it away from his hand before he could even point it. "No spells until you get to the school," he said sternly. "I'd tell you to avoid doing it outside of adult supervision there as well, but from what your mother has told me, Hogwarts is incredibly lax with when you can use spells there, so I'll save it." He expertly twirled Julius's wand around like a knife, before handing it towards him. Taking his wand back, Julius gave a wide grin. "Don't worry too much Dad, I won't cause trouble . . ." "Much." His father finished his sentence for him deadpan. Julius grin got wider. His mother sighed. "Just . . . don't get into too much trouble, okay? And especially no challenging anyone to duels! You know how I hate that!" said his mother, patting down his hair and flicking her wand to keep it neat. "I'd win anyway~!" "That is besides the point!" Sighing, his mother patted him on the head, before drawing him in for a hug. "Do your best out there, okay? I know you'll make me proud." Julius hugged her back with a cheeky smile. "Don't I always?" Afterwards, the boy picked up his things and boarded the train. Once inside, Rocky the pug began running around in circles and Julius was doing the same. "Oh man this is gonna be fun~!"
