Ruby: Frowning, she suddenly realised that someone was calling her through her HUD – she had been focusing so much on connecting through to the Forward Operations Base that she barely even noticed it. Sighing, she let go of her connection to the fighter jet and turned, they had got the message – don’t fuck around with Ruby or she’ll make you regret it. Lifting her gaze to the incoming notification, she sighed and answered, hearing Loki curse about something about Pikachu or something. “Loki I specifically instructed you to keep an eye on Scarlett and make sure she didn’t get captured. When I heard she was planning to go into Stucorp, I was assuming that you were going in there to help her.” She snapped, suddenly finding herself quite angry – why couldn’t things ever work out for the bad guys? They were severely outnumbered and now things were even easier for the FBI. Sighing again, she descended from the roof with a single leap. The boots of her suit suddenly flared, absorbing the shock of her fall as she recovered back to her usual stance. Her motorbike was only a few feet away so it didn’t take her long to mount it and rev her engine to a start. “I need you back at Aperture. I have a feeling something is about to happen and I need to be surrounded by some loyal Metas.” Forward Operations Base: “I didn’t have control of my systems, Sir.” The clearly terrified pilot stated as he somehow regained control of his Jet. It was clear that the situation on the ground had cleared up once the Metas had destroyed the missiles. The commander on duty strode outside, staring up at the sky where the missiles had just seemed to vanish – it was a damn lucky escape but questions needed to be asked now. “How did she even gain access to a Jet that was thousands of miles up? What exactly are we dealing with here? Warpath, you seem to have quite a few connections, could you possibly find some information that would make this war a little easier?” The commander requested with a frown as his eyes finally drew down to where Adam was standing. Scarlett: She eyed him for a few moments before letting out a small yet clearly pained sigh. “This is why we split up, Elijah. It wasn’t the arguing, it wasn’t you and it certainly was not the drink. It's because you are a carbon copy of him, Elijah, of my dad. There's no one else in the world who loves my father like I do but it's in the interests of his safety and other's safety that he remains in Avalon. My father was not framed, Eli; my father killed and killed until killing became the only thing he was capable of. You saw this and you still... you still wanted to be like him." She frowned, there was small tears coming to her eyes as she stared away, regaining her breath shakily. "For the love you once had for me, don't go into that horrid place, Elijah. You haven't seen Aperture. You don't understand the lengths they will go to or what they can do. Please..." She whispered, even lacing some of her powers into her words as she reached forward, her hand gently brushing his arm.
