Being back in the firm was... weird. The last time he was here, his name was brought to shame, his money almost completely gone, and he was the biggest talk on the town. He was smart, he was handsome, and had charisma. He wasn't anything like these corrupted men, even back then. He knew why he was a lawyer, and it wasn't for money. He flew too close to the sun, threatened a lot of people, and he was done. He now had more power than he did before. He had a whole army of people fighting that good fight. As he "worked" on finding out who Robin Hood really was, he also took in some clients who were talking about their stories, and in some cases he took them. But he knew his real reason he was back. He was delaying the police force and mayor from finding him. What better than being the man in charge of finding out who he is? The way Marian smiled and talked to him rang in his mind. She was expecting the same old him, the one who just flirted and thought he was the greatest. The fall from Eden really put him in his place. He wasn't going to make the same mistakes... but he was still going to joke around, he was still going to be charming, but hopefully not obnoxious. He got a bit done before lunch. He read over everything they had on Robin Hood, and it wasn't much. They got that he's got a lot of internet access, therefore he needs a lot of bills and there's some sort of record of the data usage out there, he had a large amount of hidden followers that could be anywhere to help the ones in need (of course they didn't word it like that. He and his team were still a "menace"), and that he was male, and athletic. He entered the buffet area, looking at the different foods, and glancing at the few faces who were still a bit shocked to see him. He had a lot of people (mostly women though) come up to him and tell him that they were glad to have him back. Some he felt like they meant it, others... they looked mad. He was walking past the line of people reaching for food, and suddenly his arm was grabbed. He spun around in the direction, arms locked with a smaller frame. He was now facing Edward Taylor, and when he looked down he saw in amazement Marian Anderson. Then she started talking about how they were going on a date tonight. He couldn't believe his ears! What did he do to deserve this? Then he very quickly realized that she was saying this so she could avoid a date with someone she disliked even more. He looked down at her, her eyes telling him to play along. Good thing he was a natural liar. He gave a sincere smile, nodding. He had to push the thoughts of her smile aside as he tried to think of something to say. "Yes, our date." He looked at Edward with a smirk on his face, then back at Marian. "I was thinking a nice little restaurant right on the pier..." He led Marian away from the food line, and in to the small crowd of people finding seats to sit down and eat at. He kept his arm around hers, still smiling as he walked. "Is he looking?" He asked quietly, wondering when they could cut the act... although he wouldn't mind having her this close for the rest of his day.
