I'm Dud. Back in 02 I subscribed to my first roleplay forum. It was a haven from the restlessness and the desire for something more out of existence. I was scared and alone, and it gave me comfort. Time moved on and I moved on to something resembling a life. But I'm still searching. Half a year ago I became a member here. I joined several promising OOCs that fizzled before becoming RPs. And I'm still searching. I want something original, something majestic and sweeping and challenging, someplace to tell a story and feel at home. I have two characters, sci-fi and fantasy, and want somewhere to take them, some new worlds for them to find and friends to journey alongside. I hate stereotypes, I hate fanfiction, I hate rehashing storylines and retelling the same shit all over again. Elves can be fat and loud and brutish, androids can be weaker and stupider than humans, goblins can be intelligent and cheerful and good-hearted, not every character and every world needs to come from the past. This is the present. The future will be here soon. Anyone want to join me? - D

If you are having trouble finding a roleplay to your liking, maybe starting up one of your own might turn out more successful for you.
