Renee smiled at the girl and she took Sophia's hand and shook it while answering "I'm Renee. It's nice to meet you as well, Sophia," She then answered her apology "And, it's alright. I wasn't too alarmed. I just wasn't expecting anyone to talk to me," She mentally face palmed herself for that comment. She realized that the last statement may have come off as cold and anti-social, even though that wasn't her intention.
She asked Sophia, trying to strike up a small discussion, "So, do you come to this bookstore often?"
