Ehm... not sure if I fully  understand that last post... do you want me to put up a vote for something?

Anyways, here's an idea I just came up with.
Somewhere in Mass effect 1 I believe it is suggested that the reapers might want to leave more reliable servants behind than the keepers aboard the citadel and the Geth are brought up.

So what if the Reapers took the Geth after the last cycle and made them into their servants like they did with the protheans in the form of the collectors? So that way we can have the geth be there as servants of the reapers acting from the shadows just like the collectors before.
