Emi
Shhhhiiii- The young pixie stared blankly at the principal, her heart fluttering and her palms breaking out into a sweat. The scream, the earth shattering scream. Her world turned a sort of grey scale tone as the noises around her began to get softer, as if she was going underwater. She hadn't signed up for this. Where were her brothers? What was going on? Just moments ago she'd said goodbye to them as they walked off with their friends. The damn bastards, leaving her alone. And this was what it came to! She fought the urge to pull out her deck of cards, knowing full well it probably wouldn't do any good at the point. The odds of her getting anything useful were low. For now, she simply sat, trembling in fear, wondering what would happen next.
Azax
He blinked for a moment, trying to comprehend what had just happened. He felt the people around him, saw them through the vibrations in the floor. They appeared as outlines in his mind, some of them hunched over, some of the probably crying, others revisiting their lunch from that afternoon. Azax, himself, had to swallow his spit in order to keep himself in check. His heart was pounding and his skin raised up on end, elvish ear picking up ever nuance of the banshee's cry. It had almost deafened him for a while, the low murmur of the students around him which in all likeliness were probably more along the lines of screams of terror, only adding to the Banshee's wild screech. Azax, shifted in his seat slightly, trying his best to see through the other vibrations and pick up on the thing that had created the noise, but he was having a very hard time of it. It was hard enough trying to focus on the people around him with the damage the scream had done to his ears. He had to rely on his feet to feel the vibrations, his ears were of almost no help.
